Boo!! Hiss!!
Okay, joking aside. In all seriousness, the idea was a good one, but the clues were hit and miss. Image quality in a number of them was not very good and some of them I got the answer because of what was left to fill in.

Better than some. At least you know the ones to pick from.

I gotta agree with [1]. This is a clever idea, and a lot of fun, but the images are not very helpful in some cases.

Well, Scoutmom beat me to it. I might be a little more positive--I liked clue #24, for instance--but it's true that there was some clumsiness in the cluing.

For #18, couldn't you have used a picture that doesn't so closely resemble Auguste Rodin, resulting in a completely plausible answer that is, however, completely wrong? Or was that intentional misdirection?

Either way, nice idea, well executed I thought.

Nice idea, for sure. There WERE some tough clues. #10 made me smile. I was going to make a puzzle of half of these (the 'west' ones), but now I think I might not. (There are 76 others of those in the sky I could use...)

This would have been a disaster with an open category. As is, I enjoyed and like the variety of clues.
[4] That one is cute, but it's maybe the only one I *did* have a problem with, because I can't see that it's accurate either pronunciation or spelling wise.

[8] yes, under a different name.
I fully agree that it's a great idea with a, let's say, 'spotty' execution. A few clues were very clever/funny, a few rather poor, and the rest a bit weak.
Nice idea, though.

Not my best. I know it was mean to make you guess who the band for #17 was (RATT), and I made this one before I learned to use larger more visible images. I'm glad some still had fun. In hind sight, I don't think I would have gotten the tiger clue myself.
