Solve the clues to fill in the grid! Type in the answers to the clues on the right side of the Hypercross puzzle below. Clicking a thumbnail image will enlarge it. You can Tab through the clues while the image is enlarged. You can also click on the first space of a word in the grid to view the clue for that word. If two words begin in the first cell, click the cell again to view the downward word. Be sure to check your spelling! Click on the "Check your Answers" button when you think you’ve got them all.

#2 took me a while... had trouble figuring out the jar clue, and I hadn't considered the possibility of a partial word as an answer.

that's funny...I got 2 first...British background...that's a dietary staple...then got stuck the longest time on 7 trying to make the team name fit....over-thinking is not my friend

Sigh. Partial words? Inconsistency between whether it's the entry being clued or the entry+themeword being clued? How do these things get approved?

[14] I was trying that too, but it didn't fit w/ the crossing answers. Do you have the 3 crossing letters? If so, try a crossword solver; the one I tried came up with 5 possibilities, one of which was the (at that point obvious) answer.
