Answers don't fit

The last one is what keyed me in to this! Great puzzle!!

I have them all, but doesn't fit! Argh!

Edit: Ah, nice puzzle Philana! I automatically plugged in the theme to #1 w/o even checking the letters and because it fit, I thought it must be correct; but it wasn't!

Strangely enough, #2 has me stumped

I keep looking at the title and I keep looking at the ones I think I have, but I can't get the theme. Can anyone give just a little salt, please? Thank you!

nice one. it took me a few before I realized the theme. because of #2 & #3, I thought it was something else.

Great puzzle. I had the wrong theme and couldn't get them to fit. When I had that "aha" moment, it took seconds to fall into place. Wish I would have thought of it earlier.

got all the clues but number 1... i know the theme... all are spelled correctly, i try to pull the letters but it makes no sense, i think 1 is the theme... tg anyone?

[39] #1 is NOT the theme, even though it does have the correct number of letters (made that mistake myself). Everything is spelled correctly as far as I could see. Make sure #15 is spelled properly; it is slightly different than the bird in the picture. Also, recheck #14; there is another answer that would fit in there, but it doesn't really fit the picture, even though it is flora-related.

If everything is correct, you should be able to pull the correct letters specified in #1 and get the proper answer there.

I thought #14 was a poor picture for the answer. However, it turns out that I had a poor answer for the picture.

I solved the puzzle, but I don't understand #1. How does it relate to the puzzle at all?

[45] Individuals who are in the position described by the theme of this puzzle are sometimes described as being <answer> from assuming the top job. In other words, if the guy at the top drops over dead, they take over.

On a semi-related note, can someone please fix the typo in the instructions. It drives me crazy every time I see it...

I finally sat down to do this one. Not too tough for me. I recognized the theme straight away. Fun. Thanks.

#13 Jaden is not 6 letters, not subject to discussion. It is his name.

For #13 and #6 don't use their name, but who they are as related to the other person.
