Fantastic!

This is way outside my area of knowledge, but it was clued so well that it was a fun one.

#5 is making me thirsty;)

got them all but #1. = (

Very good clues!

Got all but # 6

Nicely done!

I found #4 and #6 to be the hardest- and the most fun after I solved them.
Great puzzle!

For #1 on the subtraction part, you want the container name for the cola.

Very nice! Though I feel like such a tool.

[4] Go with the pronunciation, not the spelling.

[6] What might you call those good looking guys if they were in a magazine?

Argh! #6 is killing me...

NM - Post & Solve strikes again!

Super fun puzzle! You're crafty!

Whoops, sorry, not number 1...number 6. It's at the top, so my brain assumed it was #1.

[13] Think of another name for a hunky guy. (Sometimes paired, very NOT pc, with "muffin")

...and never mind, we just got it. = )

Very nice. #2 and #6 made me laugh.

Any help with #4?

[16] Aha! Thanks! I had another word that fit the grid and fit the theme. Nice one.

[19] Say the name of the letters, add it to what they are doing in that line.

Super puzzle. Loved #6

[21] Thanks! That did it for me!

[16] Thanks for the salt! I was stuck on that one. Fun puzzle!!

anyone else having trouble with #13? it's the only one i'm missing.

nvmd, post and solve

[25] Go with a nice measured response.

Loved it, esp. #6!

BTW, can't we give the woman a hand, too? Some of us love to use the stuff in this puzzle, especially the POWER ones! (And I meant that in the cleanest way possible!)

[25] It's a general term, not a specific one.

[27] I actually came up with this because I'm the one who has the tools and the toolbox in my house. So, when I fix something, I'm giving the man a hand. :)

[28] LOL! Excellent puzzle! Fun clues, and a well-designed grid!

Great puzzle! Clues 4 and 6 were definitely original.

Thanks for the salt in [16]!

2 is killing me

fun one!

#4 and #6 are hilarious.

This puzzle was really fun.

[28] LOL! Same here!

Finally a puzzle that is enjoyable, unlike some of the crap that has been featured here lately.

Thanks to all for your kind comments. This makes it all worthwhile!

I'm totally stuck on #13, though I have the rest.

Araaargh! Had all of them correct, but wouldn't take.

Found out that #10 has two different spellings....either using the Y or the I as the first vowel.

I chose the wrong one.

I have NO IDEA how I got 7 except from the 2 letters I got crossing it and the theme. I really still don't have a clue, but the puzzle was a lot of fun.

#2 is not coming to me. I typed in exactly what the clue is and it actually fits; however, I think it should be some fasteners that I've never heard the type of?

edit: yeah, exactly. I got it to work, but still never heard of them...

For [41] or anyone else wondering about #7, that is a particular species of primate. Try the reverse (add the answer to what is subtracted) and look up the name.

I guess it is not drill, but I don't get anything out of baboon man either.

[44] Ummm - yes it is, please edit your answer.

If you still need help with this, TG me what has you stalled.

Nice one, ScoutMom! #6 was, indeed, a tricky one, but was so satisfactory once I got it. I should've gotten it easier! We've made jokes about that. Some woman friend of ours says she can't get a boyfriend -- "No problem!" we'd say, "Just go the hardware store, and pick up a _____."

(OK, OK, it's not a FUNNY joke.)

[46] Yes, it is!
