5oz Original, Hickory and Peppered Bacon Salt
For the uninitiated, Bacon Salt is a zero calorie, zero fat, vegetarian and kosher seasoning that makes everything taste like bacon. It’s like delicious irony in a bottle. Or like having 10 servings of bacon a day without the early death or extra pant sizes.
The list of what Bacon Salt is good on is virtually endless, as bacon goes with nearly everything. To start your Bacon Salt adventures, there are hundreds of recipes available at www.jdfoods.net/recipe. You’ll probably think of even more everyday uses – just don’t put it on your ice cream. You’ve been warned.
Some of our favorites:
- Savory Original Bacon Salt goes best on eggs, green beans and butter, or with any other green vegetables or salads. Our most popular flavor.
- Smoky Hickory Bacon Salt goes really well as a steak rub, on chicken or fish, in mashed potatoes or on French fries, or even mixed with butter on corn on the cob.
- Slightly spicy Peppered Bacon Salt is perfect as a bloody mary rimmer or with shellfish like shrimp or crab. Makes an amazing garlic butter! 2.5oz Cheddar Bacon Salt
Cheddar is our fastest growing flavor (and for good reason), but there are lots of stores that don’t carry it yet. J&D’s Bacon Ranch Dressing & Dip Mix
The newest entry in the J&D’s line of products, this might be our most delicious creation ever. Mix with sour cream and mayo for a great dip, add buttermilk and mayo for a dressing – or even combine all 3! With pretzels or veggies, it’s a great appetizer for summer barbecues or just sit around food for baseball season. It can also be mixed into your ground beef to make an amazing Bacon Ranch burger.
