Just went out for a pizza pie with the family and plan on having more pie later! In five years there will probably be some serious Pi Day celebrations!

Ok, I'll ask you guys the same question I asked a friend who posted something similar on facebook... Did you know it was Pi day on your own or did you learn it from the image on google's home page like I did?

Turns out my facebook friend is a 6th grade math/science teacher so she already knew and makes a big deal out of it with her kids. I'm starting to feel like quite the inadequate nerd...

Closest I've come to planning pie on 3/14/15 at 9:26PM was calculating my husband's "half-life" - that day when he had been my significant other for half his life. I surprised him with flowers at work. That's what you get when you marry a nerd! :)
