Sorry about the multiple holiday emails
Some Tanga members received multiple copies of the holiday email we sent out last night. It was caused by an unfortunate combination of a full hard drive, a misconfigured /etc/fstab file, and heavy load on one of our servers.
We are reworking our software to prevent reoccurrence of that bug.

The most criminal part was that i was excited to see my mailbox packed with a ton of emails...the excitement continued as i saw 10 of them were from tanga.
The realization (and sadness) only hit when i opened up several and saw that they were all the same.
I thought I'd won 30 Wii's !!

Thanks for trying to fix it, but do you know when it should be fixed? I've been getting multiple emails for three days now..
I received no email Thursday or Friday from you. Did mine get misdirected? Was is just a belated Christmas card or was there tanganews in it too? Could you post any news or site update that was contained therein?
I hope the current leaderboard problems are not part of a site update.
Is anyone still getting copies of the email?
I got like 10 that went to bulk and one that made it around 2:30pm PST. I didn't mind because I had lost my bookmark to this site MONTHS ago and for the life of me couldn't remember the name... so in other words, the email helped bring back an old member! THANKS!
[9] Me too! I haven't been on the site for ages and i am having to read all kinds of things just to get caught up! I wasn't bothered by the multiple emails for the same reason... just thought someone should know.

I received about 10+ of the Holiday emails, but that has stopped and I am only getting the normal item update emails at this point.
