Why is WOW $5.99 in a $4.99 sale?
Once again, any chance we might see Tanga become a little more like Woot and have user designed T-shirts? The selection is generally pretty generic and mundane (don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of red zombie-themed or green Cthulhu shirts). Not a knock since the price is right, but I'd bet Tanga could get a lot more traffic and maybe a bit more sales with $8-10 "cool" shirts, even if it had to be once a week instead of once a day. Granted, I don't have a clue about your sales, other than to say the T-shirts of the day almost never even register with me, and I doubt I'm in the minority. Growth potential for 2010!
radiotalent, you should check out teefury for that. Higher quality than woot and designed by the community.
And still, they do not combine shipping.
[3] Do you know where Teefury's shirts are made? I refuse to buy shirts made by underage slave labor or even adult slave laborers in a sweatshop. No matter how amazing the art is, it's not worth it to buy sweatshop shirts. It's why I stopped buying from Threadless.
[3] I go to that site pretty regularly, as well as the aforementioned woot and a couple others looking for cool tshirts. Tanga's are always cheaper but rarely are they anything that clicks into the "cool" realm. Personally, I'm more likely to buy a shirt that catches my eye, even if its a couple bucks more. But if Tanga can't go that route, that is ok too, just a thought as Tanga is always looking to grab more customers.
I buy my husband alot of shirts on Tanga... they are made just fine and "cool" he gets alot of compliments when we are out and about!
Thank You Tanga!
It's on our list of things to do, to have user-designed contests and shirts. I don't think we have the volume of users to do this every day but it would be nice to do every once in a while.
