Why wouldn't it work? The third prong is for ground so how will leaving the ground connected prevent a device from turning on or off?

As long as it has a self-destruct button everything should be fine. [2] Is correct the round like prong is only for the ground so it should work either way. You may have to get one of the three to two plugs where the three just has the one as a terminator.

This isn't really that big of a "deal" -- I checked the net and they've got this same item for this same price on several other websites.... I'll pass -- hurry up and get to the next deal, will ya!!!???
