There is only one steak and it's the ribeye. Not for my family.

  2. FilePepperpepperhead on Thu Jul 02, 2009 07:51 PM

[4] well then $18 bucks a steak might just about be worth is then

I haven't seen you in a while things good??? (I am probably to blame not getting to the talk it up section much, not like the old days)

If you go directly to Omaha Steaks website (http://www.omahasteaks.com/servlet/browse/1/Strip-Steaks/Strip-Steaks-8-14-oz?Dsp=148&RAND=BG8048) you can order 4, 10 oz boneless strips for $49.99 or 4, 12 oz boneless strips for $59.99. If you really have to have the 4, 11 oz boneless strips, it looks like this is a steal compared to the $108.00 they offer on their site.

Or, I can go to the local Butchery and get easily twice as many of the same steak plus some for that price. Just sayin...

Can't beat my local butcher. You can say HI! to the animal the day before you buy your meats. Is that a bad thing?

    Love red meat.

[2] If you are going to spend this kind of money you might as well get Bison at Whole Foods, talk about a good steak.

$28 a pound with shipping. I think you can get it already cooked at Ruths Chris for that. I hope Tanga isn't carrying inventory on this pig.

  16. AvatarKiwiCeej on Thu Jul 02, 2009 08:55 PM

    I hope these aren't refurbished!

  17. FileApplel44fox on Thu Jul 02, 2009 09:24 PM

Steak was not even this high when the cow jumped over the moon.

[16] You beat me to it. Is that anything like SNL "Pre-chew Charlie's Steakhouse"? Or did the cow get a makeover?

  19. FileSailboatkevinruns262 on Thu Jul 02, 2009 09:51 PM

And with this offering, Tanga has officially jumped the shark.

  20. Avatar_profileRocketTechmage on Thu Jul 02, 2009 11:39 PM

When I first read the title, I thought they were from Obama steaks, oh noes!

[16] They are indeed refurbished, according to the description.

Good luck with the two week shipping!
