  2. Rf_avatarTomatoRandiman on Wed Sep 08, 2010 07:11 PM

    This is hilarious!

  3. FileOnionJohnS43 on Wed Sep 08, 2010 07:17 PM

There are several pens in the picture that are definitely NOT retractable ...

  4. Avatar_profilePearammclin on Wed Sep 08, 2010 07:19 PM

OMG!! this is hilarious. I could always use this many pens!!

  5. 74regalApplejarredscott78 on Wed Sep 08, 2010 07:23 PM

420? Are they trying to tell us something?

4.5 cents each for those of you scoring at home.

  6. FileOnionJohnS43 on Wed Sep 08, 2010 07:33 PM

Why does it say $14.99 on the home page, but when you try to purchase, the pre-shipping price is now $18.99?

  7. CloseLemonKatemari on Wed Sep 08, 2010 07:48 PM

    someone really tried to purchase?

  8. FileEggj15bell on Wed Sep 08, 2010 07:53 PM

    ummmmm.......... really?

  9. Avatar_profileGrapesDougMayhem on Wed Sep 08, 2010 08:09 PM

Thats actually 5.7 cents a piece, if you count shipping. Still not bad, if they were good quality. We actually end up going thru quite a bit of pens where I work at, and if i knew they were good quality (i.e. Bic quality, not Scripto) I would buy them.

  10. FileEggj15bell on Wed Sep 08, 2010 08:20 PM

So. What names do YOU think will be on the pens?

    Dyno-Mite Hooker Towing Svce Inc
"I Move The Earth" Dirt Cheap Inc
    A Pane In The Glass
    My Family's Nuts
Bank, Rupp & Baroque • Loans While You Wait

If you are a nurse, work in a hospital, or any place with doctors or medical supplies, you will have a locker, purse, drawer, in my case my car trunk that looks exactly like that.

Drug and supply reps are only allowed to give out crap that can be used at work. Truth or Urban Myth that there are Viagra rulers that were grabbed up like hot cakes!

    I really like pens.

  13. Avatar_profileCherrieskncoleman on Wed Sep 08, 2010 10:04 PM

I bought one, then the price went from 14.99 to 18.99 - I paid less than $19.00 total with a coupon applied (don't know where I got that $1.00 coupon though, lol..) Now the price is higher and I can't get another set for the same price.. hmmm

This ranks up there with a flaming bag of poo on one's doorstep. Wait... I could use a big flaming bag o' pens on my neighbors doorstop methinks.

  15. Avatar_profilePearblakwolf on Wed Sep 08, 2010 10:40 PM

I would so buy them if they had names like the ones j15bell mentioned.

  16. Avatar_profileAppleskoolgrll on Thu Sep 09, 2010 06:24 AM

they don't look like they are all retractable, and where did they come from anyways Tanga? Are you swiping the ones at the doctors office? Really Tanga? Really??!!

  17. Avatar_profileCherriesfilupa on Thu Sep 09, 2010 07:12 AM

    three questions:
1.- all the pens are "promotional"? (the name print on the pens are all from enterprises, products, events, organizations, etc.)

2.- if I buy this pack, all the pens will be different?

3.- do you have international shipping?

    thanks in advance

    FILUPA

I had a friend who was in this business. He always had extras laying around where a phone number was wrong or a name mispelled, or maybe the customer never showed up to get them. I am sure these are just surplus pens they are selling at or below cost before printing. Give Tanga a break. It's a decent deal if you have people stealing pens all the time and don't care about color or design. I would get them for my wife who is a teacher except that I would have to go through them all to make sure there was nothing inappropriate on them (i.e. alcohol, liquor, etc...)

Go Tanga for thinking outside the box.

This will be the third time I have ordered pens in bulk like this. They get gobbled up very quickly at work. I expect I will have used all these up by Thanksgiving. The coolest ones I got had bamboo covers and clips and were made for the pease corps. Most of the others are small businesses and politicians. (The pens from the politicians don't work, but the rest work pretty well!)

What's next up, the socks that get lost in the dryer?

  21. FileBananaFrogFart on Thu Sep 09, 2010 09:51 AM

It is kind of funny but only the 207 blue .7mm Uniball for me. Best pen ever made.

I saw this on graveyard mall one day for far cheaper. Maybe it was only 6 lbs though? This one seems to be much more expensive.

But I think it would totally be worth it. Keep some at the office, in my purse, at home near my desk, etc. Plus being retractable is great too for my purse. If some have caps, they typically fall off and get ink all over everything.

If it had free shipping, or was just a few dollars cheaper, I may go for it.

Right now the Marcs Stores in our area have these style pens 35 for $1 which works to about half the price. If I didn't have that option I might go for this deal just because my kids go through pens like crazy. I have no idea where they go, but they always disappear.

  24. Avatar_profileStrawberryCharliePrince on Thu Sep 09, 2010 12:50 PM

Just purchased... now my only thoughts are i wonder if the ink will dry up before i get a chance to use all the pens.

  25. Avatar_profileStrawberryLeepinLeemur on Thu Sep 09, 2010 01:46 PM

[20] I would totally buy the lost socks to replace the ones that don't come back from my dryer.

  26. Sherman109Plumtina20 on Thu Sep 09, 2010 04:34 PM

    Sweet deal... I ordered 3!
