We had the original Bethump'd years ago and enjoyed it, but then again, my wife and I are word-lovers. In that old version, our friends stopped playing it with us because we always won.

This version looks like it's been simplified as far as word selection. The older version had was filled with archaic words.

A great gift for word-lovers!

Our family used to enjoy the original of this, too, but we were admittedly word game geeks. Not sure if I'd like it as much today . . . My understanding is that this edition deals more with history of words than the original edition did, but I could be mistaken.
