too bad I didn't wait - would have enjoyed the additional $2 savings per copy. Mine did arrive with a distinct musty smell, although all of the components look ok - will just have to destinkify the box over time I guess.
[4] If you let it air out a little, it should be okay. I bought a used game last year and when I opened it, it reeked of mothballs. After leaving the game sit opened for a week or two, the smell was pretty much gone. Hopefully, you will have the same luck with getting rid of the musty smell.
It's a fun game, and has a good silly factor. When playing, I like to imagine the country is *SO* tiny, that the little person on the various army, police and other forces is a direct 1:1 representation of their armed forces..
I passed this up a few weeks back for $5 dollars because I just bought another game. I always have been interested in Junta and after passing it up last round, a buddy expressed how fun it was..and its always $50 at the game store. SOLD.
[16] I work for Pru out of the Hartford office. The Woodbridge, NJ tipped me off and there's a D Longo in Tele. I'm on the fence about getting the game. It's a fun game, but two of my friends have copies that we hardly ever play.
I have heard that the game is fun but I am pretty sure that I don't want to spend more than $15 for a game that I will only probably play once or twice in my lifetime.
If I could find 2 people to split shipping with, then I might give this a shot...but most do not seem interested so far.

The problem is it's best with 7, and is a long game. So getting 7 together for 3 or more hours can be difficult.
Well, that's not a large problem for my gaming group. We meet every Wed for 5 hours and every other Saturday for 9 hours. :-)
