From the cover art to the name, having this game recommended for 3-5 players is awkward. I've owned it for some time, I've read it is a good game to play, but I cannot get my friends to go for it.
That's funny, that they are practically giving it away for free. It's actually a very good game, if you look passed the idiotic portrayal of stupid american behavior depicted on the cards.
Other than that, the game is fine whether you play with 3, 4 or 5 players. Whatever the number, it keeps you guessing to the end and is a lot of fun game wise.
I was expecting little or nothing, but was pleasantly surprised when we played. There's a decent little game here.
There was an underground movement amongst some of my friends to make a custom Relationship Tightrope deck with pictures of ourselves as a wedding gift for (other) friends. It never actually happened, for reasons I can't remember, but I think we got a good couple of incriminating pictures of Peter, anyways. Now he can never run for public office in the states of Minnesota, North Dakota, or Arkansas.
I bought this on here when it was $0.01 each - still have 3 left out of the 6 that I bought lol. Anyway, GOOD game mechanic, AWFUL theme. So if you are the type that can play a game and not care what the card depicts (you could replace them with just cards that just have numbers on them). Everybody that has played it enjoyed the mechanic, just felt the premise of the game was extremely dumb. But at no cost before shipping, why not?
Happy Anniversary TangaMonkey! You should get Mrs. TangaMonkey a copy of this game as an anniversary gift. That will really score some points with her LOL.
I enjoy this game but also dislike the theme. Ditch the silly relationship ups and downs cards and replace them with simple (black and white) yin/yang value cards. You can still use the other bits, including the deck numbered to 50. heck, you can also use the number cards and bits to play No Thanks.
I'd buy some if you could get two. I already passed on some of the first batch I got to players who really enjoyed it as well.
I'm either happy I grabbed one or very ashamed/embarrassed.
I am still unclear on how I feel about this. I am really trusting some of you guys on this ...

Yeah I think I still have these in shrink from long ago!

Congradulations! 17 years is pretty rare these days.
I still have a case of a dozen I've never been able to trade...
This wrongly rethemed game may be responsible for killing Uberplay.
The only good things about this theme is it might be a more approachable game for some....but I agree with everyone else....good game....poor theme.
[10] My case wound up being Christmas gifts one year to married friends and co-workers.
Kinda surprised that this sold out; I wouldn't pay $6 for a copy. It's just an okay game. Sometimes, $0.00 isn't a bargain.
