I have played this and unfortunately I can't recommend it. It took us 20 mins to understand the rules enough to play a 10 game. I feel it is an over complicated bidding, tug-o-war game. The pieces are high quality and the artwork is good, but the gameplay didn't come close to meeting our expectations compared to the parts. Unless you have money to burn or care more about looks, I suggest passing for something better.
[5] Have you played this once or several times? My wife and I read the review over at BGG and we were divided. I like LOTR:C and she didn't. We still have that game, but I ended up putting it in the guy game side. Can you and anyone else give anymore comments from experience with this game?
I own this and I enjoyed it the 4 or 5 times I have played it. It's not deep but it's a quick filler that takes a bit of thought and strategy to try and outthink your opponent.
I like it and I would recommend it at this price. (I bought it for more and did not regret it).
I bought this last time and I was very happy with it. There are a few rule issues (in terms of understanding them) but once you figure them out it becomes extremely easy and fun. Some card management, some opponent reading, artwork is awesome. Not any huge strategy but fun.
Well I wouldn't mind this if I split the shipping with someone, Oxford, Ohio here close to Richmond, Indiana and Cincinnati, Ohio wouldn't mind splitting with someone from those areas

I bought this one last time. Still haven't opened it yet. Maybe we will tonight!
Please tell me this is a board game incarnation of that movie where Shaq plays the genie...
Find someone to split shipping cost:

I'd be up for splitting shipping - near Milw. WI
[5] Agreed. My wife and I played part of one game and decided that it just wasn't all that fun to play. Seemed boring and pointless.
20? You can buy 20?!?
Is this the English version?
This is a good game. There aren't many 2 player auction games. It takes a couple plays to get the hang of it though.
Never mind. Ordered.

Dandelion_Wine,
Just sent you a tangagram. I'll split shipping with you.
Beautiful artwork and high quality pieces. My husband and I have been disappointed in the game play though.

I'd buy this if I could split shipping with 2 other people in MN (bring the price down).

I'd get this if I had 19 other people to split shipping with. :P
I have sitting on the fence all day and reading the comments on BGG I decided buy one.
