Sure, people will talk about how expensive the 40K hobby is, and time-consuming, and how Games Workshop needs to work on their people skills.
I'm not in a position to argue against those views, but I WILL say that it makes me feel good to see this offered on Tanga. There's something about Space Marines that gets my blood pumping. And I love the models.
If anyone is wanting to try out Warhammer 40K, this is definitely the set and the price to go for.
I don't believe I've ever seen this go for 75 even in Game Workshop stores. I bought this for about the same price Tanga is offering without shipping. Bizarre.
At $57 with shipping, this is less than $1 cheaper than Amazon, and I'd be willing to pay the higher price for the faster, more reliable shipping. If this drops a few more bucks, I'll have to consider it, but for now it's a pass.
Its 75 in stores, but its only 75 for the new set that comes with a starter paint set. The original MSRP for the basic set, which it seems Tanga is offering, was 60, savings aren't too great for this one unfortunately.
If you play the game, you already bought it. The walker runs $50, the termies run $50, the unit of 10 tac squad runs about $50, and the orks can be traded later. The book, captain, and templates are just extra. I play Blood Angels and bought this deal because our new codex comes out by May. I now have sweet parts to modify my army, plus, I can have up to 6 walkers now....mmwwwwhaaaaaaa.
If you aren't into the joy of painting and collecting, this shouldn't even be on your radar.
Hope I don't get a lawyer letter because I looked at the picture.
Yeah, so tanga slangs crack now huh? Should change the name to slanga.
Warhammer comes painted now?
[3] Never mind.
