Actually it took me 6 minutes and 20 seconds to spell it right. I knew where it was going with the first 3 clues. My spelling was so off, Google didn't even ask "Did You Mean?"......

    WOW, that was knuts.

  9. PirateleadfootPumpkinleadfoot on Tue May 29, 2007 07:17 PM

  12. FilePearckpete2887 on Tue May 29, 2007 07:23 PM

Confused by the last clue... thought it was asking me to subtract that part of the word for some reason. And I would have spelled it right on the first try!

  19. BatsmallSailboatAshe2000 on Tue May 29, 2007 08:09 PM

[17] and [18], you get the fact that it will be a long word, right? I wonder what the longest word in English would be? And I wonder how you could find out?

  20. PirateleadfootPumpkinleadfoot on Tue May 29, 2007 08:12 PM

    It's not
    Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

  21. Avatar_profileStrawberryiamadam on Tue May 29, 2007 08:17 PM

    That was fun.

  22. FileDuckiespamwise on Tue May 29, 2007 08:28 PM

[17] Yes, that is young mister Potter, though his friends just call him...

  23. FilePlumSpanky on Tue May 29, 2007 08:33 PM

    Is that a real word???

    Just wondering.

  24. Tog6Pumpkinprincessproton on Tue May 29, 2007 08:41 PM

[23] Indeed it is. One of my favorites, second only to
pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis. (Say that three times fast!)

  25. FilePlumSpanky on Tue May 29, 2007 08:45 PM

[24] Well I don't know what that "p" word is you have there .... but it sounds like it hurts !

  26. Avatar_profileOrangefgc666 on Tue May 29, 2007 08:45 PM

[20] is the best clue you can get without it being a total giveaway (ahem, [19])

  27. Tog6Pumpkinprincessproton on Tue May 29, 2007 08:48 PM

[25] I imagine it would. It refers to the inhalation of extremely fine particles of silica dust (usually expelled into the air during the eruption of a volcano) where the particles become lodged in the tissues of the lungs. Not especially pleasant, but fun to try to spell after a couple beers.

  28. FilePlumSpanky on Tue May 29, 2007 08:49 PM

    [27] lol. I hear ya.

  29. Avatar_profileLemonoliiii on Wed May 30, 2007 05:30 AM

  30. Thunk_logo_colorPotatofachanlahd on Wed May 30, 2007 05:43 AM

It took you 2 minutes and 17 seconds to solve this puzzle.

I had the same issue as [8]. I spelled it so bad that Google didn't even recognize it.

  31. FilePearBigRob68 on Wed May 30, 2007 06:18 AM

kept thinking there were 3 clue words, and kept reading the "s" as the beginning of a word and not as a letter

solve time: 2 minutes and 3 seconds

  32. FileDuckiespamwise on Wed May 30, 2007 09:47 AM

I half expected someone to dis the third image...

  33. FilePlumtada on Wed May 30, 2007 02:08 PM

    [24]
    that, that, that

  34. FilePlumsjlee on Wed May 30, 2007 02:14 PM

Only thing I had to look up was the spelling.

  35. Tog6Pumpkinprincessproton on Wed May 30, 2007 05:36 PM

[33] Nice, haha. Someone had to do it. :D

  36. FileSailboatdagibbs on Tue May 06, 2008 08:47 PM

Took a couple tries on the spelling, but didn't need to look it up. Maybe that makes me some kind of geek.
