Surely you can't be serious. Who's got time for this one? Good luck those who do this one, but I'm gonna pass.
i tanga'd the key and i'm not sure it helped/

My first first! Yay!
Sadly, I didn't fare as well on the salty One Word Warm-up. Taken together, the two puzzles might be more palatable, and just as kosher?
you must be kidding...
there is no way in heck I am gonna even think about doing this one. all who do, good luck and you are absolutely crazy!!
[3] that easy?
Man, I was slow to figure this out... surprised to be 2nd. It's really not that difficult. And I liked the (not) red herring.
# It took you 11 minutes and 6 seconds to solve this puzzle.

# Average solve time: 6 minutes and 27 seconds.
# Median solve time: 11 minutes and 6 seconds.

Do you really have to go through all the other puzzles or is that just bull, cause you guys are solving waaaaaayyyyyy too fast
[8] Do you REALLY think you have to do everything those instructions tell you? That would be an impossible waste of time.
Thought so
# It took you 19 minutes and 15 seconds to solve this puzzle.
# You were the 4th Tanga member to solve this puzzle.
Way slower than it should've been. Couldn't keep track of what I needed to keep track of.
Still not sure exactly what to do here
Any salt available??
# It took you 17 minutes and 13 seconds to solve this puzzle.
# You were the 6th Tanga member to solve this puzzle.
Very cute. Like Saxifrage, I kept losing count.
Got it now. Cute.
Salt: double key
# It took you 28 minutes and 23 seconds to solve this puzzle.
# You were the 8th Tanga member to solve this puzzle.
D'oh! I too should have gotten this earlier. My excuse tonight shall be... the disturbing explosions of premature fireworks nearby!
# It took you 30 minutes and 48 seconds to solve this puzzle.
# You were the 10th Tanga member to solve this puzzle.
You were the 12th Tanga member to solve this puzzle.
Gah! I had the right method all along, but wasn't applying it exactly the right way.
I'm not seeing it at all. I found the not fish part but that's all I got.
Do we have to go through all this to solve this thing?
[20] no, but I still don't know what we do have to do
YEah, [18], not sure if it's ltr or wrd.... where to start and stop, etc.
Any solvers want to offer some salt to those of us who have tried everything we can think of?
For crying out loud, Spanky, try reading the comments above you. No. No you don't.
I guess not.
There we go. 19th, after half an hour. Good luck, folks. Don't make it harder than it has to be. :-)
Is it some kind of pun? I've tried all kinds of herring-related answers to no avail. Is the tanga key supposed to be applied in a different way than the usual?
[24] Tahnan. I was talking about all the futility in getting a little salt from the solvers. I KNOW you don't have to take the instructions "literally". But that's ok.
I've applied the tanga key to everything and gotten some things that almost make sense, but without a nudge I don't think I'll finish. I'm just too frustrated.
[22] bcgrote
I think it's words, but title in or out, 307 as one word or three, nothing gets me anywhere.
[28] Why is it so futile to try to get salt from solvers some nights? When I solve one that seems to be troubling a lot of people I salt here and BGG.
Good salt over at BGG. I am still trying to figure out how, other than trial and error, you would use that method.
Salt: Count the numbers in the key (don't count the question mark). Look for a way to apply that many numbers to the rest of the puzzle.
Salt dam finally broke at BGG. Don't look unless you're a weenie (like me.)
Thanks for the BGG salt xpsdude!
Gotta love those red herrings!
[32] That's a good question.
This blog seems to be turning into a bragging and gloating blog!!! I got the answer and don't see one thing in the first 36 comments that in any way hints(salts) toward the answer. All I see is how long it took and what number others where to solve the puzzle.
Numbers match in some way, you just have to find it.
Wow, I never would have gotten on the right track without the salt at BGG. Not sure how one is to figure out tangazation in this puzzle. Glad I had help. Kudos to the puzzlemaker for another change-up.
[37]Dodger is right on. You have 13 numbers in the tanga key... now find another "thirteen" places to apply them.
* It took you 13 minutes and 23 seconds to solve this puzzle.
* You were the 55th Tanga member to solve this puzzle.
* Average solve time: 51 minutes and 51 seconds.
* Median solve time: 40 minutes and 5 seconds.
* 39.568% of Tanga members that have attempted this puzzle have solved it.
Heck, I'll take it. That puzzle was hard.
I likee! Good Job JasonLP!
[37], really?
I found comments 11, 14, 22, 26, 33 (and 37) helpful.
That aside, I think it's a pretty nice puzzle - and I'm mollified that it took me so long to try the method that finally worked. It's right there to see; I just needed to do a little counting.
BGG salt helped put me on the right type of tangazation to use. Like the puzzle. :)
Good stuff. Very good stuff indeed. Props to the author.
Interesting Puzzle tonight. I needed the salt at BGG.
Salt free for me tonite. Things must be firing just right in the ole gray matter!
Wait - who's going to try following the instructions to see if it really works?
Not it.
I got it! I got it! That was very cool. I love the intricate ones. Great job JasonLP.
I enjoyed the puzzle. Needed some salt to help but it was fun to say the least. Nicely done JasoneLP!
very good puzzle...i really liked it.
The numbers at the bottom have a doulble use. They are exactly what they say they are(or not as the case may be) You will(can) use them twice.
Jasonlp- this was awesome! Way to go
