We're going to start having "non featured" puzzles regularly. we've got way too many puzzles to use just one a day.
So, if you submit a puzzle, it'll either quickly be 'approved', which means that it goes into the archive and anyone can solve it, or it will be nominated for featuring as a 'featured puzzle' -- solving these once-a-day featured puzzles will get people bonus points. Regular non-featured puzzles will get 3 TP per solve. And puzzle authors will receive a small amount of points for every small amount of solves, I forget the exact numbers. We'll write up a more complete document later.
(or, if it's a terrible puzzle, it'll be rejected with a reason why and you can resubmit it if you want)

It would be really great if puzzle makers and admin would remember that some of us are still on dialup (through no fault of our own). Taking 5 minutes to download a puzzle because the media file is HUGE kind of detracts from the fun of solving the puzzles.
Ok...I'm at the 10 minute mark here and this is STILL downloading. This is ridiculous!!! Use some common sense when publishing puzzles. File size DOES matter!

To be honest, I submitted this almost a year ago and always felt it *looked* better than it solved :) So this isn't necessarily a bad place for it to show up.
And hey, if you like this puzzle, that should only bode well for what's gonna get Featured, right?

When are the other puzzles going to start? I would love to have some closure or suggestions on some puzzles, too. I really want to make more, but it hardly seems worth the time. I've already deleted most of the ones I made.
