[6] As far as I know, these aren't from movies. Everything you need is here on this page, no research required.

    [11] Follow the directions.

  15. Avatar_profilePearhld1970 on Jun 06, 2007 07:37 PM

14- That is rather cryptic since I don't see any directions.

  16. AssetsPumpkinprincessproton on Jun 06, 2007 07:38 PM

[15] Read it carefully. They are contained in the text. I will try to salt harder on BGG.

  26. Avatar_profileStrawberrysyracuselaxfan on Jun 07, 2007 02:24 AM

Everyone keeps referring to boardgamegeek, but what forum is all this salt being listed? I don't see a forum dedicated to tanga and typing tanga into a forum search leads nowhere

  27. AssetsDuckiedavey3 on Jun 07, 2007 05:25 AM

    Salt-free in 3.5 minutes ... loved it!

Also, if you don't bookmark this, it is linked on the BGG home page as the "Master Tanga Puzzle Thread" under "BGG News". For a couple of days they took it off, but put it back (I guess enough people complained)

  29. AssetsBananaVotey on Jun 07, 2007 06:01 AM

Ohhhh, at last I get it. It really is quite a good puzzle.

  30. AssetsPotatofachanlahd on Jun 07, 2007 07:39 AM

Nice puzzle. Fun to do once you finally "see" the directions.

  31. Avatar_profileKiwiTheDowman on Jun 07, 2007 08:36 AM

Just not seeing the directions here. I'm probably going to feel really silly if and when I get the "Aha!"

  32. AssetsGrapesgahndalph on Jun 07, 2007 09:02 AM

It took you 2 minutes and 21 seconds to solve this puzzle.

Cool puzzle- once you get the "Aha"

  33. AssetsRocketBearcat89 on Jun 07, 2007 09:21 AM

Look for commonality between the first paragraph and the second paragraph.

  34. Avatar_profileGrapesJasonLP on Jun 07, 2007 10:50 AM

    Heh heh, that was cool.

  35. Avatar_profileRadishrmcelroy on Jun 07, 2007 11:05 AM

Woo hoo! Salt-free in 2 minutes and 25 seconds. Fun puzzle.

  36. AssetsPotatoDandelion_Wine on Jun 07, 2007 01:35 PM

cute - done without my crutch (BGG is down)

  37. Avatar_profileOrangenickb on Jun 07, 2007 09:50 PM

The answer explanation leaves something to be desired.

  38. AssetsTomatoMurdoctor on Jun 08, 2007 08:40 AM

    [37] Agreed.

For those of you who still curious about how to solve this, the important words in the first paragraph are "beforehand", "overtime", "understand", and "afterthought". Find the words "hand", "time", "stand", and "thought" in the second paragraph, and read the words "before", "over", "under", and "after" them, respectively. That will give you the phrase "what you jump through", which is a reference to the common expression for doing something difficult -- "jumping through hoops".
