First at 1:04. Yee-haw.
Who is that lady? It looks like Sandra Dee.
I think it's Dinah Shore
heh... fourth on both... second time doing that
Third.
I don't know who the lady is, but Sandra Dee would fit. I got three, saw a pattern and took a guess.
It took you 1 minute and 17 seconds to solve this puzzle.
You were the 5th Tanga member to solve this puzzle.
Sheer ingenuity!
I think I have 4 of them, I see "a" pattern, but it doesn't do anything for me.
Salt?
6th in 1:55, but not sure about that book.
Fun puzzle though.
wow... 12th... never done that well... nice
[7] writing them down might help
Thanks [10] but I'm just not getting it...
Finally got it. I had a case of sheer stupidity.
Dinah worked for me. With the possessive.
[11] The shirts that they're written on are important. And repetitive.
I see the theme but not sure how to get the answer from the theme.
[13] I got the whole shirts thing and the common ending, and I got all of them except the won with the lady.
I just cant seem to put it all together
I FEEL SO STUPID!

send me a geek mail (pbleadfoot) with what you have and I'll nudge you in the right direction...
Got the answer, but not sure how to make the first one fit the theme. I got the others and guessed.
Hmm. I think I have the words...but I just don't see anything there? Man I hope it's going to hit me in the shower tomorrow morning....
AH....with salt, got why the first one works.
The first one doesn't work like the others. It stretched it and made us guess.
Thank you Hope2002, [20] gave me what I needed.
Wow, got 4 of the 6 and figured out what to do. The book one I got by backsolving (although I should have figured it t.) Not sure about the mushroom one...
finally got it. The lady isn't in the kitchen, but they sang about her in Grease
So who is the woman? Sandra Dee? Doris Day? or Dinah Shore?
I got the answer so I don't think it was Dinah, but her last name makes a better word clue (though the wrong word needed to solve the puzzle).
I tried to find that exact picture and couldn't find it. Did anyone else have any luck finding that exact image of the woman?
Well I got 5 of 6 and solved the puzzle, but the book still has me bollixed. I'm sure when I read the answer this evening it'll be a "DOH!" moment.
EDIT: DOH!
I think I know the theme, and I got the "M" and book ones, but not the rest.
Quid-pro-quo...
That isn't just any kind of book... it's unusually long.
[24] Ignore anything to the contrary... it's the third one.

Still don't have the solution yet, however.
Finally got it with [13] and a guess.
I didn't get the mushroom or the rubber duck ones.
The first one is quite a bit of a stretch. I think a bubble coming off her saying "This is mine!" would've helped a little.
For the first picture you have to make it possessive. For the fourth, where is the arrow going? The third is all about reproduction.
I was making the 2nd step WAY to hard.
Still don't know the book one.
I was going with "Shore" at first and getting the wrong answer, but then after making one slight change, I think it might be "Dinah's".
We found the exact picture- it is Dinah Shore. Google Dinah Shore under images, and it is the seventh page.
Writing the words down definitely helps. I can't believe I was stumped so long on this!
Crap... the answer isn't sixties. I have all six, and stumped.
EDIT: Got it 1 minute later. Thanks [33]
I figured it out, but I still don't have the book one.
[and the light comes on] Ahhhh. I was reading too much into it. It looks like my copy of a the complete works of Shakespeare. I think a paper-back would have been better....
For the yellow one, think about what you'd call someone who made it to the Hall of Fame.
Man, the clues came to me rather easily, but I can't figure out the theme.
Uggh...I *think* i have all the clues figured out except for #5, but still can't figure out this puzzle. :-( Is there anyone that can check my clues out and nudge me?
Yep, got nothin' on the book.
Solved it, but no clue what the book is.
As for the fifth one: the type of fish that is is irrelevant.
Glad people enjoyed the puzzle. I actually searched for "War and Peace" for the image of the book, but the one pictured is actually Anna Karenina. I'm sure it's pretty long as well.
[28] sjlee: Yep, that would have made the puzzle a little neater.
