  2. Avatar_profileRocketKoolKow on Jul 19, 2007 07:01 PM

I thought that was my line!

  3. Avatar_profilePeachgozroth on Jul 19, 2007 07:02 PM

    # t took you 57 seconds to solve this puzzle.
    # You were the 1st Tanga member to solve this puzzle.
    # Average solve time: 57 seconds.
    # Median solve time: 57 seconds.
    # 3.571% of Tanga members that have attempted this puzzle have solved it.

Would have gotten it faster but I can't spell.

  4. Avatar_profileBananagiersch on Jul 19, 2007 07:02 PM

My first in quite a while!

  5. Avatar_profileBananagiersch on Jul 19, 2007 07:03 PM

Okay. Gotta ask. How can there be more than one first?

  6. FileApplegilby123 on Jul 19, 2007 07:04 PM

OK...I've tried two things that would both work (with multiple spellings) and neither work...I'm stuck.

  7. FilePlumdougw on Jul 19, 2007 07:04 PM

    # You were the 4th Tanga member to solve this puzzle.
    My first top ten!

  8. FileRadishThosw on Jul 19, 2007 07:06 PM

    How noble!

  9. Avatar_profilePeachgozroth on Jul 19, 2007 07:06 PM

now it says that I'm second.

    don't know what happened there.

  10. Ronald-mcd-3EggKilgore on Jul 19, 2007 07:07 PM

[6] I'm with you. Apparently it's not that?

  11. FileBananayodaredd on Jul 19, 2007 07:08 PM

I got the answer really fast by saving it to my computer.

  12. FileDuckiedavey3 on Jul 19, 2007 07:11 PM

[11] - I never even thought of doing that! Seems a bit TOO easy that way.

I thought for sure the answer was foosball!

  13. ApparatusGrapesApparatus on Jul 19, 2007 07:13 PM

    [11] Fantastic!

  14. FileAppleTWhitsett on Jul 19, 2007 07:15 PM

[11] I thought they had fixed that awhile ago... but that was before the change in puzzles. I'm guessing it'll be fixed again.

  15. Avatar_profileApplepyrok on Jul 19, 2007 07:16 PM

[11] There was another one like that a few days ago. I was totally stuck and I wanted to see closer to see if I was missing something and there was the answer. They're usually better about that sort of thing.
People: when you send tanga your puzzles please try to be a little more coded about naming conventions. It kinda takes the fun out of it.

  16. FileRadishThosw on Jul 19, 2007 07:18 PM

[14] There's nothing to "fix". Aaron said not to upload the files with the solution as part of the filename at one point. I guess they removed it from the submission form. I had to resubmit all mine. Guess this one fell through the cracks.

  17. FileApplegilby123 on Jul 19, 2007 07:22 PM

Yep...just wouldn't have got that on, since that doesn't look like what it needs to be to me. *shrug*

Works great for foosball or bumble, I think.

  18. TommyStrawberryTommyTutone on Jul 19, 2007 07:35 PM

8 seconds yay, but shouldn't a male cow have been more appropriate?

  19. Avatar_profileApplekswitz on Jul 19, 2007 07:44 PM

lame.. sorry about the file name guys. I didn't realize you could even save them to your computer... I'll make sure to put some totally random title from now on.

  20. Avatar_profileApplepyrok on Jul 19, 2007 08:15 PM

[19] Not your fault, kswitz - sorry if it sounded like I was implying that it was. They used to change the file names to some seemingly random bunch of numbers. I started noticing recently that the file names were more descriptive than before and it seemed like maybe they were the creators' names. So, I just wanted to bring it to the attention of any past, present, and/or future creators that if that is no longer the case, let's make sure we remember to not save the file as the answer. I know I caught myself the other day.

  21. Avatar_profileApplekswitz on Jul 19, 2007 08:37 PM

I'm glad you said something. I have been submitting a bunch of puzzles lately and using the answer name because it is easiest to locate when attaching it. I will go in tomorrow and edit any that they haven't used yet.

  22. PirateleadfootPumpkinleadfoot on Jul 19, 2007 09:33 PM

    [21] kswitz
You can rename the file on your computer and then "edit" the puzzle and re-upload it

I believe that is true even after the puzzle has been published - so the authors can fix things as needed....

    So rename - reupload....

  23. Avatar_profileApplekswitz on Jul 19, 2007 09:48 PM

done! i went in and renamed.

  24. PirateleadfootPumpkinleadfoot on Jul 19, 2007 09:50 PM

    I like the new name!!

  25. Avatar_profileApplekswitz on Jul 19, 2007 09:52 PM

PB- thanks for the tip about puzzles that are actually in publication mode! I went in and changed the name of this one. Hopefully that solves things. When I went in to see if it had solved the issue by saving it to desktop, it didn't use the new name I originally created or the new name.....so hopefully it is taken care of.

  26. Avatar_profileApplekswitz on Jul 19, 2007 09:52 PM

ha. apparently it worked, based on your response.

  27. PirateleadfootPumpkinleadfoot on Jul 19, 2007 09:56 PM

When I right click and select
    "save image as"
    it tries to save as
    no_answer_here_folks__puzzle.jpg

  28. Avatar_profileApplekswitz on Jul 19, 2007 10:10 PM

    yep. :) Glad it worked!

  29. FileStrawberryiaiaz on Jul 19, 2007 10:30 PM

    HA! Cute. :-)

  30. Avatar_profileRadishrmcelroy on Jul 19, 2007 11:59 PM

I'm not seeing this one yet. Perhaps I'm too tired. I'll try again in the morning.

  31. FilePearjulesfordale3 on Jul 20, 2007 01:52 AM

    soccermom isn't correct... lmao...

  32. Avatar_profileKiwibunnymama on Jul 20, 2007 04:08 AM

    So, it's not foosball.

  33. Thunk_logo_colorPotatofachanlahd on Jul 20, 2007 05:27 AM

I'm not seeing this. Why am I not seeing this?

EDIT: Grrrr....I wasn't saying the whole "sentence" so I wasn't seeing it.

By the way the two cow references above were totally throwing me off. Am I missing something?

  34. Avatar_profileKiwiTheDowman on Jul 20, 2007 06:07 AM

I'd try "sake bomb!" but that's not one word.

Now I'm hungry for some sushi.

  35. FilePepperChupper on Jul 20, 2007 06:29 AM

I wanted to be a sasquatch, yetI couldn't stand the cold.

  36. Avatar_profileStrawberrysyracuselaxfan on Jul 20, 2007 07:06 AM

i did not take 12 hours to solve this...12 seconds max

  37. FilePepperdajagr on Jul 20, 2007 07:21 AM

[33] My cow reference was simply that I'd seen the same sort of thing using a male bovine rather than soccer equipment.

  38. Avatar_profileApplekswitz on Jul 20, 2007 07:25 AM

I didn't even think about the foosball possibility. [33] gives some good salt if anyone still needs it.

  39. Avatar_profileApplepyrok on Jul 20, 2007 06:24 PM

kswitz: I'm glad you were able to change it-I like the filename you changed it to - funny! leadfoot: That's good information for anyone who submits a puzzle- if you don't have it on your FAQ list you suggested yet, you should add it. (You sure did a lot of work on that "suggestion" - they basically could just cut and paste your work and make the page.)
