How to Play
One Word Wonders are word puzzles where the answer is exactly one word. Decipher the image below to come up with the answer. For a better idea on how to solve this puzzle view an example. If you get stuck you can ask for help in the comments section. Hints are posted 24 hours after puzzle's publish date (if provided by author).

Hmmmm, it changed!
Very cool "Aha!" moment. Love it. (though I couldn't get the fourth one)
Hey, I was working on a puzzle, site went down (?), and now the puzzle I was working on is nowhere to be found. What's up?
Well, they aren't anagrams.
Why are the puzzles changing so fast? This is the third hard one I have seen today. I spent so much time on the "easy" one that I didn't even get to the last hard one before it changed.
[5] This is a puzzlathon. One puzzle an hour for 24 hours.
[5] There's a puzzlethon on right now. 24 hard one-word-wonders in 24 hours. One new one is being posted every hour. and [4] no, and they're not simple cipher shifts, either. :-)
cryptogram?
[5] you can do old ones still. It's a puzzle-a-thon. See http://www.tanga.com/forum/blogs/1119_Aaron_s_comments_daily_fun_2_0
I have no idea how to solve the puzzle. I just answered it by looking at the picture.
I guessed. No clue on this one.
[9] Good, 'cause given how long the "easy" one took, it gonna take me longer than an hour to solve these hard ones!
Total guess. Have not a clue...
[10] DOH! That was my first thought when I saw the puzzle but I didn't put it in because I thought it was the wrong # of letters. No clue how to do this one.
Speaking of the puzzlethon, do we know when the curtain will fall on answering the final puzzle? I haven't seen official word. I know the first puzzlethon had "the crash", so the end was loosened. Will we have exactly 1 hour to finish puzzle #24? Will they have only 20 puzzles, but give you the full 24 hours to finish? (I think that was a suggestion following one of the thons.)
Ive figured out 4 of 6 and at a loss for a moment
Gah! After all the work on the clues, I looked at the salt and was able to get it from the picture. Still want to know some of the words, though.
Guessed. No clue how to actually solve.
Wasn't there another (mostly guess-answered) puzzle with the same answer awhile back? Or am I just crazy?
EDIT: Nope, not crazy. But I won't post the link here because it would basically be posting the answer.
I didn't think to guess it because it doesn't match anything.
Got a couple of words (including two for ETETAL), then guessed from the picture. Can't figure out at least two of the clues.
guessed. earned 52 points. Fine with me.
Guessing isn't working here. *sigh*
[23] MD, you once had a warm-up with the same answer. That's probably not much help since you've published about a zillion puzzles.
I made an overly obvious dumb guess and got it. No clue as to solve method.
[24] Thanks for that nudge. I was focused on 6-letter words.
Yeah, that background is unfortunate. Don't "cheat," because this is actually quite a nice one, once you get it.
The trick is indeed cool, but I couldn't figure enough of them out to see where it was headed.
I got it from [24]. :)
I didn't want to "cheat", but I've got to go home and I'll have enough trouble catching up on the ones that pile up during my commute. I very much look forward to seeing this clever method. I am aha-less. :(
Big Salt: What if the background were a licence plate instead?
-Dave, too salty?
I got it with the first four and the background... anyone want to send me the last two?
