    # It took you 5 minutes and 45 seconds to solve this puzzle.
    # You were the 2nd Tanga member to solve this puzzle.
    # Average solve time: 4 minutes and 29 seconds.

it wasn't that hard, everyone else must be having the same connection problems I am.

[1] Yeah, site's a little slow tonight. Actually, it's *really* slow.

  3. FileGarlicHope2002 on Aug 20, 2007 07:14 PM

Yeah, getting in has been a pain tonight.

  4. FileStrawberryPenh on Aug 20, 2007 07:14 PM

    Yay, it's not just me!

  8. FilePlumSpanky on Aug 20, 2007 07:25 PM

Im having trouble working on this puzzle..........
Im still laughing at rob's answers.

  9. Head_shotBananajppe5 on Aug 20, 2007 07:26 PM

    but shouldn't 5 be krill?

  10. FileRadishThosw on Aug 20, 2007 07:26 PM

    I love the teacher's name...

  11. Avatar_profileWatermelonclhathat on Aug 20, 2007 07:26 PM

    robrizob, you are a punk
    or possibly drunk

  12. Avatar_profilePearhld1970 on Aug 20, 2007 07:27 PM

That was refreshingly simple. Thanks rob for not letting us down.

  13. Avatar_profilePearhld1970 on Aug 20, 2007 07:28 PM

[9] That's what I thought first but the analogy is looking for a plant...

  14. FileApplegilby123 on Aug 20, 2007 07:29 PM

Got it, though the last one, I had two different answers and that's what through me off.

Still, I liked it. Reminds me of a final for a physics class I knew I was failing anyway. :)

  15. AvatarCarrotrobrizob on Aug 20, 2007 07:31 PM

[13] & [9] They apparently eat both, depending on the type of whale. At some point in my elementary school science career, I must've learned the answer I used for this puzzle. Regardless, it's pretty easy to solve without the last one.

    Robrizob-

thank you for the absolute hilarity one week before I have to be a teacher again! I must find a way to incorporate planet suckatron into one of my lessons!

  17. AvatarApplebagherra on Aug 20, 2007 07:33 PM

    I got nothing

  18. AvatarCarrotrobrizob on Aug 20, 2007 07:35 PM

[16] Glad you liked it, kswitz. Let me know how that goes over with the parents.

  19. FilePotatoDandelion_Wine on Aug 20, 2007 07:39 PM

DOH! It ain't looking good. I had it but used an 'o' on the 4th letter instead of what I should've used.
May be I shood go back to skool and get an edjumacation

  20. FileXylophoneDavmar on Aug 20, 2007 07:44 PM

    [9]I agree about the krill

  21. FilePotatoDandelion_Wine on Aug 20, 2007 07:52 PM

My first guess on 5 was shrimp (which would fit the krill bill).

  22. Avatar_profileApplepyrok on Aug 20, 2007 08:08 PM

    That had me LOL, robrizob!

  23. AvatarApplebagherra on Aug 20, 2007 08:11 PM

interesting. I am afraid I still fail...

  24. FileDuckiedavey3 on Aug 20, 2007 08:22 PM

Well, at least I did better on this than I did on the verbal SAT many years ago. Good puzzle!

  25. Avatar_profileGrapesJasonLP on Aug 20, 2007 09:26 PM

    Very amusing, Rob. :)

  26. FileGarlicHope2002 on Aug 20, 2007 09:52 PM

I wish I could encode something like this into things I write on my students' pages.

  27. FilePepperdajagr on Aug 20, 2007 10:16 PM

It would help if I could count, wouldn't it? (I kept trying to figure out what "fluon" was...)

  28. FilePearjulesfordale3 on Aug 21, 2007 01:29 AM

hmmmmm... I got the answer... but still can't figure out the answer to number 5 because krill or seaweed do not work?

yep... 2 sec. after writing this I figured out the 5th one... lmao

  29. FilePumpkinimapuzzl on Aug 21, 2007 05:36 AM

Being a SpongeBob fan helped with #5

  30. Avatar_profileCherriesmightycross on Aug 21, 2007 06:56 AM

    is #4 Al Gore?

  31. Avatar_profileCherriesmightycross on Aug 21, 2007 06:58 AM

    is 5 Jonah?

  32. Avatar_profileCherriesmightycross on Aug 21, 2007 07:07 AM

i am an idiot! Did I pass or fail?

  33. Img_0189Egggst on Aug 21, 2007 08:39 AM

Cute, but should be a warm-up.

  34. FilePotatoDandelion_Wine on Aug 21, 2007 08:53 AM

[27] I got that too at first! Great minds or ...

  35. Avatar_profilePeachTheungry on Aug 21, 2007 08:54 AM

I got the answer, but i still have no idea what #2 is supposed to be. None of the first 5 musical styles i thought of helped.

  36. FileStrawberrydivisionbyzorro on Aug 21, 2007 09:44 AM

    [9] [20] I agree completely.

  37. ApparatusGrapesApparatus on Aug 21, 2007 10:25 AM

[35] It'd be the same type of music that my buddy, Guy, plays.

  38. Avatar_profileCherriesmightycross on Aug 21, 2007 11:17 AM

I bought a BB gun from King yesterday. I shot a blue bird with it. Just wounded it though.

  39. FilePeachespring on Aug 21, 2007 12:07 PM

    Outstanding Robrizob! Keep 'em coming!

  40. FileTomatoMurdoctor on Aug 21, 2007 12:49 PM

[35] Think of the dress color related to the wrong answer given.

  41. Avatar_profilePeachTheungry on Aug 21, 2007 01:21 PM

I had that, but apparently i was all backwards in how i decoded the puzzle... not that it stopped me from getting it right.

  42. Avatar_profileWatermelonCrash_Enburn on Aug 21, 2007 02:35 PM

What on earth did 'missle silo' have to do with anything??

Oh, herring of redness, you once again leap from the page to slap my face.

    Great puzzle, Rob!

And I end the day feeling great at having solved both puzzles today entirely w/o seasoning! Woot!

  43. Avatar_profileStrawberryjade1026 on Oct 01, 2010 11:04 AM

Fairly new, just making my way through puzzles. I thought [7] was some salt. Had me looking desperately at Iron Maiden songs and albums for an answer o_O
