I believe the answer should technically be two words...

  2. FileAppleABBAbear on Oct 23, 2007 07:02 PM

    Wouldn't that be a three-word answer?

  3. FileBananaahecht on Oct 23, 2007 07:02 PM

What part of "One Word Warm-Up" don't you understand?

  4. FileCheeseburgerslokay on Oct 23, 2007 07:02 PM

    good one

  5. New_scout_logoCheeseburgerscoutmom on Oct 23, 2007 07:03 PM

seems like it should be 3 words to me!

  8. FilePumpkinBigSlick on Oct 23, 2007 07:04 PM

[5] Yeah, this was my quickest one too, I think. 32 seconds, but it didn't help that I misspelled it the first time.

    # It took you 11 seconds to solve this puzzle.
    # You were the 6th Tanga member to solve this puzzle.

Probably would have been faster but I also thought that it was more than one word, but tried anyway.

  10. 188227_100Potatomaluba on Oct 23, 2007 07:05 PM

I have one word for you...

    what the heck?

  11. FileOrangeleukothea on Oct 23, 2007 07:05 PM

How is that a one-word answer??

  12. FilePancakesjmcintyre on Oct 23, 2007 07:05 PM

    Thatsnotfair :^P

  13. FileAppleMCTMike on Oct 23, 2007 07:06 PM

I'd call that three words, too - but...

    # It took you 12 seconds to solve this puzzle.
    # You were the 2nd Tanga member to solve this puzzle

    ... I guess I can't really complain.

The hard one has me stumped, though...

  14. FilePlumSpanky on Oct 23, 2007 07:07 PM

[10] That's beautiful. I'm still laughing. But so true !

  15. FileKiwiDullorb on Oct 23, 2007 07:10 PM

ugh, this puzzle should be disqualified for so many reasons.

  16. FileBananaethnosax on Oct 23, 2007 07:10 PM

Was the author of this one confusing this answer with Rumplestiltskin?

  17. Avatar_12-08Pancakesthreehojos on Oct 23, 2007 07:14 PM

16 seconds and #88 - should have come here before the hypercross!

  18. FilePlumSpanky on Oct 23, 2007 07:17 PM

[17] OK... Now my sides are splitting.........That's FUNNY, and right on!

  19. FileBananaethnosax on Oct 23, 2007 07:16 PM

I notice that the "1 Tanga Point" I was awarded for solving this puzzle was not quite the same as the 1 in the "One Word Wonder."

At least the solving only took me 11 seconds. :)

  20. Avatar_profileGrapesJasonLP on Oct 23, 2007 07:44 PM

So the rules have changed? I guess you can have as many words in the answer as you want. Just take out the spaces.

  21. Tog6Pumpkinprincessproton on Oct 23, 2007 07:48 PM

Agree with all the detractors here. I tried all variations of an associated activity before reading the comments and finding my 3 word answer worked without the spaces...I'm surprised this was approved for posting.

  26. Donimo_pirate_beatlesTomatoDonimo on Oct 23, 2007 08:15 PM

[21] No no no. No rules change. Let's just re-define this particular name as one word and move on.

  27. FileGarlicBlueDevilDucky on Oct 23, 2007 08:23 PM

All of you guys are hilarious, but johninc wins the prize for bringing out the shark jump.

  28. SouthparkPepperTahnan on Oct 23, 2007 08:24 PM

Can I borrow the word "lame" from robzirob's having retracted it in the other thread?

  29. Avatar_profileAcenekeel on Oct 23, 2007 08:30 PM

what the hecks? i have rvw and it's not right?

  30. FileEggjohninc on Oct 23, 2007 08:33 PM

[30] Spelling? And don't forget, it's only one word.

  31. Img_1219Watermelonjdno on Oct 23, 2007 09:00 PM

Ohh man, I am tired now.

  32. FileTomatoRagspur on Oct 23, 2007 09:22 PM

Solved this one right away. But it didn't give me my score. Too fast? Hahahahahah

  33. Avatar_profileRadishrmcelroy on Oct 23, 2007 09:22 PM

They must be running low on puzzle submissions if this one made the cut.

  34. Avatar_profileOrangeainsworth on Oct 23, 2007 09:32 PM

In defense of yodaredd I do say I don't think he believed that renfurdson would have published this.

[34] Probably not must have caught ren's eye b/c of the answer

    [23] lolyougotthatright

  36. FileBananaSephiroth2906 on Oct 23, 2007 09:36 PM

    salt please

    just kidding

  37. FileCarrotblahmcblah on Oct 23, 2007 09:38 PM

It took me 30 seconds, because I tried stupid answers that were actually only one word long, like "sleep," and "sleeping," and "asleep" before trying a three-word answer.

  38. FileRadishSpire on Oct 23, 2007 09:53 PM

    Ugh. That was exceedingly lame.

I really hope this doesn't set a precedent.

  39. FilePumpkinJohnQ118 on Oct 23, 2007 10:11 PM

    Median again! ...

Uhhh, I entered the 'answer' expecting to be wrong. That's not one word ... unless you meant the Bassmasters "fishing club from Catskill , N.Y" or the Brand?

I would have taken less time, but at midnight, my reaction time was slowed a couple seconds.

As long as it was formatted without spaces, it's ok now?

    What next? TheGettysburgAddressasasingleword?

  43. Avatar_profileStrawberrymasher77 on Oct 24, 2007 05:25 AM

not cool... one word should be a single word... unless the intent was the web address of a domain-hunting search engine...

  44. FileTomatoMurdoctor on Oct 24, 2007 05:36 AM

    Foul!

  45. Sp_chrisGrapescsniezek on Oct 24, 2007 05:55 AM

Not a bad EASY puzzle. Just not within the rules.

Bad puzzlemaker! No Alphabet Soup for you!

  49. FileTomatoMurdoctor on Oct 24, 2007 07:53 AM

Anyone else catch the commonality between the answers to the easy and hard puzzles today? Say no more!

  50. HarleyKiwipetiepooch on Oct 24, 2007 09:46 AM

Don't care if it's not one word! Got it in 27 seconds. I'm happy! Good puzzle. Fun! No salt needed !!!

  51. Tanga-pink-avatarBananaMorganza on Oct 24, 2007 02:31 PM

I got the "correct" answer instantly, then started hunting around for the one word it would point to. It wasn't until I looked on a spoiler site that I thought of trying to concatenate the full name into one word.

    Bad puzzle. No biscuit.
