Well, it's not "no"!
edit: Was close (and yet so far!) until outside help nudged me towards the solution, so I'm paying a little salt forward here. (It's still early, so I'll try to err with less rather than more.)
What's that saying about the whole being greater than its parts?
(If too salty, please flag or LMK!)
I don't recommend trying to say this outloud at work. (It doesn't help anyway!)
Nope, still not seeing it.
Edit. Thanks, scoutmom!
All I can say is, thanks for the nudges, or this would have never added up for me.
Whew! Even when you know the direction to go with this (thanks [1] [4]), you probably still need to try several permutations to get the correct method.
Thanks scoutmom but that was still a lot of work
[1],[2]&[4] are not helping me at all.
[7] The salt is in [1] and [4], what is in [2] is just my ramblings.
Let's see how to properly salt this, without raising anyone's blood pressure (this puzzle does that sufficiently!)...
What if those weren't letters up there, but something else differently. You do the math...
thanks. all the math and video game puzzles over the last 24 hours is killing me. At least with this one I could just write a program to do the work for me.
[7] thanks, the math was ok, I actually had a hard time answering the question, need to improve my google skills.
"You solved this puzzle in 607 days, 0 hours, and 38 minutes and were the 74th Tanga member to solve it."
74th? I guess that I wasn't the only one who found this difficult.
