It looks just like the hypercross.

Not bad, now if i can just figure out the hypercross
[5] - Now if only I could figure out the hypercross!
[7],[8] See my comment there.
you don't have to do the hypercorss first?
I figured the answer from there would lead you to this answer. Darn it.
It took you 12 minutes and 56 seconds to solve this puzzle.
Woohoo, top 10 three nights in a row!!
Ok, just solved it. I wrongly assumed you would have to solve the hypercross first. I did solve the hypercross, went back to this one, but turns out it wasn't necessary at all.
YAY I am 8th!
Is there anyway other than trial and error?
Edit: Nevermind, I was being to literal.
[14] yes. Go and LOOK at the Hypercross. Use them, solve this. E-Z!
[14]
Yes - you don't need trial and error.
[12] is right, you don't need to solve the hyper to get this one
[15] Except that there are two ways you could look at the hypercross and apply it. My original idea would have actually been more challenging. I actually got a lot of words that way.

JUST made the cut!! =-D
Took that long to figure out Hyper and then figure out the answer. Makes me happy. =-]
i see a strange math pattern, am i off?
[20] No math needed...
EXCELLENT ONE BUGGY!
VERY nice!!
Having solved this puzzle, I still contend that "taxi" is also a perfectly valid answer. Who's with me?
I loved this one. Finally a puzzle that made people almost have to go somewhere else first and no tanga Numbers. I like it when there's almost no possible immediate AH-HA moment, and the tie in to the Hypercross was cool too
i only solved this from the other puzzle. I don't see how to solve this independently.
I don't see how to solve it independently either...
I don't think anyone said (and I didn't reread all of the comments so I may be wrong) that it can be solved indepent of the other puzzle. They only said you didn't have to SOLVE the other puzzle to solve this one which is true. Although, I too misinterpreted that and spent too long looking at this before looking at the other one.
Thanks for trying something different. Still hated it.
[23]: Yeah; I got some other words that same way as well. (Which is a lot more interestingly tricky, though it doesn't lead to a unique solution)
nice! don't let the whiners get you down.
