There must be a method to this madness

No one is really terribly interested in helping to salt on any of the puzzles tonight, so that method will continue to elude me.

Agree on the hard to salt, but I'll try: The high school demographic probably gets the method easier than the rest of us...

Finally got this one too. I feel dumb now -- It was actually my first idea for how to solve this puzzle but I missed the obvious.

I tried calling the number, but that didn't help.
