    Ummmm...yeah....

  2. FilePancakesjmcintyre on Sat Nov 24, 2007 07:26 PM

Got the first part but it's leading me to a place I can't figure out.

Edit: I'm hoping it ties into something else in the graphic, but I can't make it work.

  3. Soccer_ballCheeseburgersoccer_ref on Sat Nov 24, 2007 07:21 PM

I'm right there with you [2]

  4. FilePotatoeldurand on Sat Nov 24, 2007 07:24 PM

    [2] and [3] ditto...

  5. FilePotatoeldurand on Sat Nov 24, 2007 07:26 PM

NM, just kept trying possibilities til one clicked... but I have NO idea why!

[5] How 'bout a little nudge? A grain of salt?

  7. FileAcegameczar on Sat Nov 24, 2007 07:34 PM

[5] Yes, salt please. BTW, did you get 1 point or 2 for this one?

  8. FileGarlicHope2002 on Sat Nov 24, 2007 07:41 PM

I've got a strange sentence that could lead to a few answers...

  9. FilePotatoeldurand on Sat Nov 24, 2007 07:47 PM

    [7] I got 1 point :(

For the answer, think of a specific location within the destination. It took me 1652 steps to get it right...

  10. Soccer_ballCheeseburgersoccer_ref on Sat Nov 24, 2007 07:49 PM

[9] Well, I've tried at least 1/2 that number...with no luck yet.

  11. FilePancakesjmcintyre on Sat Nov 24, 2007 07:52 PM

    [9] Merci beaucoup.

    Edit: Wow, 2nd.

  12. Phi3CornPhilana on Sat Nov 24, 2007 07:54 PM

Like everyone else, I'm stuck with the strange sentence. It seems like the numbers would have to come into play somehow.

Edit: They do! I finally got it.

  13. FilePancakesjmcintyre on Sat Nov 24, 2007 08:06 PM

[13] I would say the fourth clue should have yielded a different, more useful, word, but I'd just be babeling.

Edit: [12] I finally figured out how that worked.

  14. FileBananarenfurdson (Tanga Admin) on Sat Nov 24, 2007 07:55 PM

sorry somehow this got posted as a warm up

  15. Phi3CornPhilana on Sat Nov 24, 2007 08:11 PM

[14] Yes, it was a lot of work for one point.

Edit: [16] Are you sure? My points went up only four. I was definitely credited with only 1 point for this one.

  16. FileGarlicHope2002 on Sat Nov 24, 2007 08:08 PM

OK, that was a lot of work for 1 point.

Edit my points went up 5 today. I must have gotten 2 for this.

  17. Soccer_ballCheeseburgersoccer_ref on Sat Nov 24, 2007 08:08 PM

Geeze...8th. That was really hard!!!! Stupid thing is...I HAD the answer..1/2 hr ago, but entered the long form. Ugh.

  18. Avatar_profileCheeseburgerslokay on Sat Nov 24, 2007 08:08 PM

this was worth more then one point.

  19. Avatar_12-08Pancakesthreehojos on Sat Nov 24, 2007 08:09 PM

helps to get the last word correct so you don't go off on a tangent like I did! URG....

  20. 2458377427_39b86a6bf0CarrotMilkyway on Sat Nov 24, 2007 08:14 PM

I got two points. This is a second parter using the numbers to get the last word

  21. Phi3CornPhilana on Sat Nov 24, 2007 08:29 PM

[16], [20] That's not fair! The first people to solve the puzzle (eldurand was 1st, jmcintyre was 2nd, I was 3rd, ...) got only 1 point. But later solvers got 2 points? FOUL!

  22. FilePancakesjmcintyre on Sat Nov 24, 2007 08:32 PM

[21] et al... I got only one point. But I'm content with the fame and fortune of being second... ok, maybe not. :)

  23. FileDuckiedavey3 on Sat Nov 24, 2007 08:59 PM

Good (though tough) puzzle. Interesting last step.

  24. FileAppleTWhitsett on Sat Nov 24, 2007 09:08 PM

Is weird spelled wrong on purpose, or should I pursue that angle?

  25. FilePepperdajagr on Sun Nov 25, 2007 12:51 AM

I must be doing something wrong. I've ended up with an anagram of "chown."

  26. FileEggMurdoctor on Sun Nov 25, 2007 07:23 AM

[25] You're doing the right thing. Just do it on the anagrammed words instead.

  27. Avatar_profilePearKillians1978 on Sun Nov 25, 2007 10:38 AM

[9] That was a HUGE clue. Felt a little guilty googling it. :) But at least I got my two points.

  28. FileGarlicmartinp13 on Sun Nov 25, 2007 12:02 PM

    ditto [27]

  29. PumafeistCherriesaskmeques on Sun Nov 25, 2007 12:10 PM

i cannot figure out the last clue for ANYTHING.

i came up with forschner knives from switzerland. lol.

  30. Avatar_profileGrapesaetheros on Sun Nov 25, 2007 12:53 PM

Is the misspelling of weird intentional?

  31. FileBananatheChony on Sun Nov 25, 2007 01:55 PM

[30] No, sorry, the letters are still there anyway.

And I would've been here when it came up, but there was a double feature of Blazzing Saddles and Ghostbusters at the Grindhouse.

  32. FileAppleMCTMike on Sun Nov 25, 2007 06:24 PM

Wow - this puzzle is like a poster child for a good time to do PNG instead of JPEG...

  33. SouthparkPepperTahnan on Sun Nov 25, 2007 06:50 PM

That was...kind of dumb. A whole lot of red herrings ("festive beauty"?)--and what's with the fourth word, anyway?

  34. FileBananatheChony on Sun Nov 25, 2007 06:55 PM

[33] After following directions, to get the 4th word of the clue, move the first letter to the second K.

  35. FileAppleMCTMike on Mon Nov 26, 2007 06:37 PM

I found this one tricky to get started too...

  36. FileBananatheChony on Thu Nov 29, 2007 09:30 AM

[35] Sorry, I reworded it to give clearer directions after testing on a guinea pig. They got it the after rereading, and I tried hard not to involve duplicates too much.
