One Word Wonder

Made that /way/ too hard.

[1] How bout a nudge. I've tried Exxon, Onyx, and a few other things. But everything else I can think of is more than 1 word.

This is one of those that makes you wonder if it's really a puzzle.

Sorry for not getting back earlier. Work, and stuff.

Just think, once you get the answer to this puzzle, you'll be able to throw up your arms and shout, "Whee!" Or maybe something similar.

so whats the answer? is it really that hard to put the solution in the solution field?

[16] I agree. Once you click "View Solution," you give up all chance of getting points in exchange for getting the answer. In this case, you don't get the solution, just another hint.
