The colours do not matter at all, just what's happened to the colours on the text.

For anyone that's getting the same ideas, the answer is all in the past.

I got it, but I think my first answer was more appropriate.

I hate when the easy one just doesn't come to me, and the clues here aren't helping. Now I'm completely stuck on a word that isn't leading me anywhere ("n-fade, fade-n"), and I can't get my brain out of that rut. Can anyone give me another nudge?

does it have to do w/ periodic table?

Still no help for me - would someone please geekmail me? This one has me feeling like a complete idiot today... Forget trying endings, I can't even come up with a word that begins to fit, at least not a word that's a real word...

Finally got it. That was the toughest "easy" one word wonder for me so far.

wow. i am an idiot. all i had to do was add three letters (suffix).
