1st!!!! Never did THAT before!
I cry foul!
OMG - Pun.-c/tu...a,tion?!!
YES, this is NOT a Cryptopix! It is a, ummm, multiple-word wonder.
I can't get the punctuation right....help! foul!
i got nothing...
I've got the general idea, but the top three pictures are refusing to connect, and nothing I type is getting me anywhere.
not a cryptopix
How to play: Put pictures together to form a word or phrase
I know exactly what it is but cannot come up with the combination.... grrrrrrrrr
3 it is not what your thinking
OK, this had to be one of the worst cryptopix puzzles i've seen here. It's just a bunch of clues pointing to an answer.
According to the instructions:
"Cryptopix puzzles are solved by putting the pictures together to form a word or phrase!"
oooooooooooooh
Post and solve...
that was...different.
Not a cryptopix!
How...Demented...
Dr. Demento is COOL.
not my favorite thing to do "on a spring afternoon", but I still can't type in the exact phrase for it to take.
[Edited for saltiness]
it's 4 words. [16]
Google helps, no punctuation in this one.
any salt on the picture of the pool or water?
OK, I have found the phrase, but can't get it to take. Are we supposed to include all those punctuation marks, spell them out (like & = and), include the "..." or not?
No, it's 5 words.
[17] It's 5 words
There is no puctuation in the answer.
[19] the pool of water is the same word as the first picture in that line.
boooooooo i had the bottom part ane knew the name of the song after only five had posted.i spend the last 15 minutes trying to fit the first three pictures into the phrase.
got it from [16] - never would have got this otherwise. this is not a cryptopix as I understand it.
Weak. Is following the rules really that hard? (Applies to whoever approved this one and the creator.)
Got it. Very foul.....a cryptopix should be the pictures shown for the words.....this is an easy multi-word wonder instead.
Okay, got it and: FOUL.
I immediately got everything below the first row...spent too long trying to figure out what the first line was supposed to be. = P
edit: Oh, and I agree that it's not really a cryptopix.
I was trying to input what was actually there, not what the words belonged to
You solved this puzzle in 12 minutes and 31 seconds and were the 104th Tanga member to solve it. You earned 10 points for solving this.
These horrible puzzles wouldn't bother me so much if it weren't for the fact that I submitted a perfectly good one months ago, and never received any feedback on it. Maybe it sucked, but at least I followed the rules.
I hav a comnt

u figre it owt.
Google helps.
Freaky.. Was humming this not half an hour ago... *WHEN THE PUZZLE FIRST CAME UP*...
[33] Google it - and find out what it's from. You aren't inputting what it says. (Which is why everyone is claiming foul!)
Freaky.. Was humming this not half an hour ago... *WHEN THE PUZZLE FIRST CAME UP*...
"solved this puzzle in 4 minutes and 48 seconds and were the 127th Tanga member to solve "
=-=-=-=-=
got it with [21] salt and having the phrase right off.
-Never heard the phrase, never heard the song, never seen the guy, never seen the YouTube video, never seen or heard of the two guys, ... YOU DON'T NEED THE TOP PICTURES ABOVE THE LINE to SOLVE. (you need google)
this is not a cryptopix. it's very l a m e. sry4mho.
It's gained notoriety, and caused much anxiety in the Tanga Society tonight.
(Sorry I couldn't resist)
[EDIT: Hey dyllan, I got blasted a few days ago for some flaws in one of my puzzles, so don't take it too hard. I thought it was fun, it just doesn't fit the Cryptopix rules.]
To be fair to the creator, there are multiple definitions of Cryptopix throughout the site. If you go to the "Create a Cryptopix" link, you get:
"Cryptopix are puzzles of multiple pictures where the answer to the puzzles is a word or phrase."
I wish there was more pointing to what this puzzle wanted as the answer, but this isn't the first time a Cryptopix hasn't been "say what you see".
I think it may also help to remember that the people who "created" the definition of cryptopix for this site still seem to be the ones selecting the puzzles that are featured.
59 seconds and that was just because I never did figure out what the top line meant (until I saw the solution, of course). Then I tried a name first before I tried the title.
I disagree vehemently with the ratings people have given this. Much fun and extremely easy.
Good puzzle, dyllan!
Good thing you don't need "above the line" to solve. When I saw the solution, I was dumbfounded.
The rest of the puzzle works for me. I didn't know it, but google got me going.
And while I've got the mic ... show a little respect. Hating the puzzle is not a license to be a huge turd.
Interesting cryptopix...very odd indeed... lol
UNBELIEVABLE!
CWarrior> Hating the puzzle is not a license to be a huge turd.
Quoted for absolute truth.
Mama always said, "if you can't say something nice..." (and then she stopped there, because she could never say anything nice)
Having never heard of this and googling the beginning of what I had I did NOT get the answer. Again, no matter what people say, not a cryptopix. The definition is right there on the submit page and on this page and it is exactly the same. Only users have tried to change it. The last one that did something like this wasn't well received for the same reason.
Not exactly by the rules, but I thought it was clear how to find the solution. (If I weren't a huge TL fan I might have thought otherwise, though.) Anyway, thumbs up from me.
[46] I agree. People around here get so uptight about the puzzles.
I will say that the top part is unclear and unhelpful, though. Better to just write "name that tune" or something.
Uptight, outta sight. Whatev. I thought it was fun.
[24] Thanks! Finally got this; w/o your salt, I wouldn't have had a clue I was supposed to find a song. Especially because I had the phrase slightly off at first and that got me to a Carly Simon tune, which didn't work, so I really thought the song angle was wrong!
I'm still having trouble with this one.....
Edit: Thank Google..... and cut and paste.....
the answer is the title to which the words fit
(leahr and two ricks)
stupid!!!!!
BOO! I love this song, but the first three pictures were unnecessary "help;" they served to confuse more than clarify.
To anyone trying to solve this: ignore the top three pictures. The rest of the pictures deliver lyrics to a song whose title is the answer.
