You solved this puzzle in 1 minute and 0 seconds and were the 1st Tanga member to solve it. You earned 110 points for solving this.

After the first 4, I just presumed the rest.

I'm glad someone got somewhere. I can't get anything to make sense on this one. Why are the easy problems harder for me?

  3. FileGarlick1w1 on Dec 09, 2007 07:24 PM

    You and me both Hope.

  4. Club_liverpoolAppleJLRobert on Dec 09, 2007 07:27 PM

    [2] & [3]

The red letters on the bottom should help you out.

  5. FileGarlicBlueDevilDucky on Dec 09, 2007 07:28 PM

    [4] Nice!! I didn't notice those before!

uhm...yeah, I did. That was no help, whatsoever.

  6. FileBananarissa2sassy on Dec 09, 2007 07:28 PM

Any clue on where to begin with this one?

  7. FileGarlicHope2002 on Dec 09, 2007 07:30 PM

[6] Apparently there are some red letters...

I'm kidding. I just love salt that says "follow the directions"

Really? I'm getting gibberish doing that so far. I'm obviously not getting the directions just yet.

  8. FileBananamcsemcclain on Dec 09, 2007 07:31 PM

    any salt for the s?

  9. Avatar_profilePeachmklass on Dec 09, 2007 07:33 PM

obviously you need to change all the letters to r's, s's and l's. I just need to google rslllssrrlrsrlrrs and i'll have it.
    Edit: Just kidding

  10. FileBananamcsemcclain on Dec 09, 2007 07:33 PM

    lol

  11. Club_liverpoolAppleJLRobert on Dec 09, 2007 07:35 PM

[7] Any more salt, and I'd might as well just give away the answer.

I guess the best I can say is: there isn't anything mortar this puzzle than what's there.

It's easy to lose track of the sequencing if you're not careful. I did a couple of times at first.

  12. Avatar_profileBananaspurs13 on Dec 09, 2007 07:40 PM

I am clueless on what the s would mean

  13. FileBananarissa2sassy on Dec 09, 2007 07:40 PM

I get the R's and the L's but what is the S?

  14. FileGarlicBlueDevilDucky on Dec 09, 2007 07:41 PM

the s's take me off the page if they mean what I think they mean...

  15. Avatar_profileGarlic774 on Dec 09, 2007 07:42 PM

[11] Yeah I agree totally. Following the directions was much harder than I initially thought. I had to print it out first to make sense of it.

  16. FilePumpkinDisreputable on Dec 09, 2007 07:45 PM

    Goodnight, all.

  17. FileCarrotblahmcblah on Dec 09, 2007 07:45 PM

[16] What are you talking about?

  18. FileBananarissa2sassy on Dec 09, 2007 07:45 PM

    Not salty enough for me

  19. FilePumpkinDisreputable on Dec 09, 2007 07:47 PM

[17] the directions that it gives you really are as straight forward as that.

  20. FileEggplantjtotheh on Dec 09, 2007 07:51 PM

Perhaps you need a lot of will power to get through this one.

  21. FileGarlicHope2002 on Dec 09, 2007 07:54 PM

There are a lot of ways the directions could be interpreted. The letters, where you makes changes, point of view. Using a drawing program I tried at least 6 interpretations of the directions before I got it. Be careful on POV.

  22. 217303494_crw_7371110107Appleamaries80 on Dec 09, 2007 07:55 PM

I had to use my paint program since I kept getting turned around...finally found my way through!

  23. FileCarrotblahmcblah on Dec 09, 2007 08:00 PM

[19] Way to edit your comment without mentioning it and then make no sense.

  24. Avatar_profilePeachmklass on Dec 09, 2007 08:01 PM

    103rd

  25. Avatar_profilePlumdaved on Dec 09, 2007 08:09 PM

The actual starting point is what gave me the most trouble.

  26. Avatar_profileGrapesshrapnel on Dec 09, 2007 08:13 PM

    [25] Ditto.

  27. PirateleadfootPumpkinleadfoot on Dec 09, 2007 08:21 PM

hmmm - I tried to make the starting point obvious...

  28. FilePumpkinJohn on Dec 09, 2007 09:51 PM

[27] If you mean the tip of that arrow, you really should have one more s, otherwise you won't make your first turn.

  29. Avatar_profileGrapesshrapnel on Dec 09, 2007 10:42 PM

[27] It's relatively clear once you know the rule for the puzzle, but it could mean several different but workable things before you get that figured out. Would it have made the puzzle too easy if it were more precise?

  30. Ag1Potatojeep on Dec 10, 2007 01:15 AM

Wow, I don't understand how it could be more precise... This puzzle just fell into place for me, I guess. I had to restart few times because I lost my place in the sequence, but about half way through I knew the word.

  31. FileBanananurdremes on Dec 10, 2007 05:34 AM

ARRRGGGGGHHHHH! What does the "s" mean??? Please someone have pity so I can pound my head on the desk later.

  32. Avatar_profileGrapesstephenrapaport on Dec 10, 2007 06:03 AM

i would guess straight but i haven't solved yet so don't rely on that....
it could also mean switch.... either the direction you are going or the actual turns themselves.... too salty??? even at the bottom half-a-day later??

  33. FileBanananurdremes on Dec 10, 2007 06:06 AM

Thought of that, but if it means straight then you'd just stay on the same 3 letters. South doesn't work for me either so maybe R doesn't mean right & L doesn't mean left. Don't understand why I can solve the hards ones & not the easys.

  34. FileGarlicHope2002 on Dec 10, 2007 07:13 AM

Concentrate on the mortar. I hope that isn't too FMHG, but it was one of my sticking points. Imagine you are giving directions to one of those annoying people who says, "here?" at every street you come to. I thought s was both "south" and "stop" at one point, but both were wrong. That leaves...

  35. PirateleadfootPumpkinleadfoot on Dec 10, 2007 07:39 AM

I'm not sure there should be something as "too much salt" for an "easy" puzzle - well, with the exception of posting the answer outright...8-o

There is some pretty Salty Salt posted at BGG for those who are still stuck.

    woot my first solve.

You solved this puzzle in 2 hours, 47 minutes and 51 seconds and were the 273rd Tanga member to solve it. You earned 10 points for solving this.

    that puzzle was lame, imo.

  37. PirateleadfootPumpkinleadfoot on Dec 10, 2007 09:12 AM

[36] congrats on your first solve!!!

  38. Rudyard040731bAppleradiotalent on Dec 10, 2007 10:13 AM

Print this bad boy out and keep rotating the paper.

  39. Avatar_profileRadishBeowulf on Dec 10, 2007 10:23 AM

Got the first six, then guessed the rest in one shot.

  40. Avatar_profileBananasarringhaus on Dec 10, 2007 10:37 AM

I guessed after the 6th letter because I got lost. Got from that.

  41. Avatar_profileAppletravelocity on Dec 10, 2007 01:53 PM

I dislike puzzles that have a straightforward trick, once you know it, but require so much concentration o\along the way. Maybe if I had a printer...

Nice. I liked it. Use MS Paint instead of printing.

  44. FileGarlicmartinp13 on Dec 10, 2007 02:10 PM

"TomTom, did I just miss the turn? Where do I go now?"

Only 19 hours to solve it. ;)

  45. Avatar_profileLemongookbapp on Dec 10, 2007 02:12 PM

  46. Willhead-square-128Orangewillandbeyond on Dec 10, 2007 02:32 PM

    Used MS Paint. Fun times.

  47. FileBanananurdremes on Dec 10, 2007 03:01 PM

Knew there was a reason I should learn how to hook up my printer =P

  48. FileBanananurdremes on Dec 10, 2007 03:54 PM

16 hours, 33 minutes and 14 seconds. Must be why nobody likes to ride with me.

  49. FileWatermelonFuzzie_Fuzz on Dec 10, 2007 04:05 PM

    I don't get it...
