I'm blaming sitting in a dark hotel room with a laptop as my excuse for denseness tonight. Finally got this. Of course I went the right course last.....
[22] I just screen capped it off an Internet site. The colors mean something in the real world (for instance, the blue element symbols signify liquids) - they just don't mean anything to this puzzle. I don't know that it would have made sense to remove all the colors, as it wouldn't look like a real periodic table then (plus, it would have been a lot more work than I would have wanted to do).
Given that I specified all the elements you need to solve the puzzle, I didn't think the colors would be that distracting.
[27] & [28] tanga numbers are a way of using letters without just doing it and thus make a good puzzle mechanism. The two most common types are shown below
1=a, 2=b, 3=c, etc...
Hello
51 1233 = Oh hell (using the 5th letter from hello then the first etc...)
[31] you have a list of elements... that has to be important. Find them. From [29]... clearly you know what to do with them when you do find them. [13] may be very helpful if you are unsure of where to use them.

This seems familiar... :) (Not a dig. Not an accusation. Just an observation - near and dear to me.)

Nice puzzle.
[12] Chromium, Manganese and Iron would not work in this puzzle.

D'oh!
You solved this puzzle in 6 minutes and 9 seconds and were the 85th Tanga member to solve it. You earned 26 points for solving this.
My 10th grade Chemistry teacher would be proud. Maybe. (I got the first one wrong but kept going, and then backsolved my error.)

[11] is about the right molarity of saltiness.

Too much noise in this puzzle for my taste. The entire periodic table is irrelevant, especially its variously colored cells and chemical symbols.

"Tanga Numbers" just means you need to decode numbers into letters. The simplest substituion is A=1, B=2... Z=26

Whoo.. and here I was converting the wrong list of numbers...
But yes, Chromium not working should be some hefty NaCl.
