Look at the words and think about the theme. There is a pattern.

Yeh, I have the last four but what I get from them makes no sense.

Oh, *film*. Not like "movie" film, but, like, camera film. (Remember that? It's what cameras had before they were digital.)

I've got answers that fit the theme for each (sometimes several), but together they're gibberish.

I was hoping the answer would be acorn (or better yet its future)

imo, the clues should have been reversed.

[12] I hope you're not trying to say the being the answer is not "cool" or not aiming high enough in life. If that is what you were trying to say by your comment, then you are pretty ignorant. It's a very fulfulling thing to "grow" into, ask my wife. I'd go on, but it's too hard to not spill to much salt while making a valid argument. If that's not what you were trying to say, then I appologize.

Still don't know what the plum clue is, but [23] was enough to get it with just the others.

Got it without the film clue. Just unscrambled. [12] I hope you think about that someday when you've got bedsores because there's no one around to turn you.

For what it's worth, the answer requires no anagramming or unscrambling if you keep in mind the theme!
