Enjoyed this one a lot!
Hmm.. missing Horseman.
Hey, you two, it's not THAT easy.
I'm not finding it easy at all.
I've solved the seven clues, but now what?
11:08 for 3d and 3d. Ah, I shoulda been about 3 minutes quicker, but went a silly direction for a while.
Nice one.
Do we have to figure out those Greek letters??
Any one want to work together on bgg
I figured out the last part of the answer and guessed the rest. Went back and figured out the rest. Very clever.
Oh, I get it!
well this puzzle definitely has a Greek theme to it. At least two references
[8] It might help.
7 greek letters
7 clues
coincidence?
I think not!!
Clue #4 can have two seemingly correct answers. I had the "two word" variety and it threw me off. It's actually a one-word answer.
edit: And I still don't know what Horseman is supposed to be.
Thosw, are you sure? I got something that made a lot more sense with the 2 word answer.

Whee!!
For horseman, dissect the clue quite fantastically.
[17] Well, changing it helped me because I had two of one letter and one of another, and once I swapped them the other way, I knew what the answer was. Street Rat is the only one of those letters in the solution.
[19] DUH!!! Sheesh! [smacks self on forehead]
[19] Thanks - that sure helped!
[20] Oh. I must be doing something screwy in the 2nd step then, since I am getting more than 1 letter for each clue.
I LIKED it!

Saltless on-line, group effort here.
I actually started down the right path from the start!
But needed help filling in the blanks.
Got off track a little with 1. because of a couple of possiblities, but backsolved.
YAAAY

Neither a horseman nor a big drinker, so those were tougher.
[23] leadfoot
Sent you geekmail.
Hey Leadfoot - was wondering where you were. You have obviously figured out what to do after getting the seven answers...
[25] hld1970
got it! back at ya!
[26] Annie
Took a while, but figured most of it and backsolved with a little help from family.
I'm goin' to bed, y'all. My brain hurts. Hopefully someone will dump a nice heaping spoonful of salt on BGG by morning and I'll get it the old-fashioned way... with a lot of help. :)

I would not have recognized the answer as a word. Fortunately my wife did.
Wow, the first clue really messed me up. I kept wanting it to be the VHS alternative, but I was just hearing the clue wrong.
[31] nrkii
yeah, that was a red herring, but also tended to put me on the right track for the rest of the clues
I'm only missing "street rat." Everyone keeps mentioning a certain Dickens novel, but that's not helping; also, I have no idea what to do with these words.
A shake of salt to put me back on track, anyone?
[33] Mogri
is mogri your bgg name?
[33] Mogri
The sea might help you. As far as what to do: If at first, you don't succeed, try try again.

Thanks, that made it click. I had narrowed it down to that letter but that is definitely not the word I think of for that. "Sea" is a good clue if a bit confusing.
Now to figure out what to do with these words...
[38] Mogri
:-)

If at first, you don't succeed....
So I'm told. I'm sure it's every bit as clever as your other hint, I'm just not seeing it. ;)
Well, SEA is a better hint after knowing the answer to that clue. I know that you will get it, maybe not on the first try.
(deleted misleading information)
[43] are you sure you have the right answers? It worked out fine for me with psi fourth and phi last, as in the original quote.
[43] Mogri
In the quote, the 4th letter is PSI and the last letter is PHI.
Okay, I just looked at my answers again and I was misplacing the two. >_>
It's been a long week, folks.
Dang dang dang. Would have had a fast time, but got stuck thinking about radio (right concept, wrong implementation) for the first clue...
Took a break and came back to get it saltfree!
As one who (clue #2)'s fairly often, I gotta say it's not much of a spree activity. Having to elbow in repeatedly instead of just being able to camp means it's easier to stay sober.
(Edited to make it sound less like I take a lot of dumps)
[48] Maybe some Kaopetate could help you out with that problem, possibly more cheese or bananas in your diet?
Beware of Greeks bearing gifts... or is it the other way?
This is my first puzzle and I'm having a hard time. Any hints or help?
Welcome, AnitaCat.
In most Tanga puzzles, when you see a list of clues like this, you should try solving them into short (one or two word) answers, usually the answers will have something in common. And usually, that something in common is hinted at in the puzzle somewhere.
On this one in particular, you can start by finding out the names of those crazy Greek letters in the speech bubble.
We figured out the letters and some of the seven clues, we just don't know where to go next.
This thread at BGG may help you a little.

The discussion for this puzzle starts about halfway with "Puzzle for January 27th, 2007"
after a puzzle like that, I need a drink (or two)
Hey, OT: I've been searching for that painting, can't come up with anything ... what is it?
[NOTE: Name of painting is not necessary for the solve; I'm just curious.]
It's called Paris and Helen:
