Tough to spell correctly!
This is tough to spell if you've never seen it written out.
Who's that first guy?
Can't believe I got the spelling on the first try!
I've got to be making this too hard. I can't get anything out of the pictures other than maize (or corn).
Must...resist...silly...obvious...salt about names.
Oompapa, I finally got it!
Salt for the first pic pleeeease!
Sang that over and over again in girl scouts when I was a kid...I don't know if that was a common thing or just our troop's oddity, though.
[3 and 8] His initials are listed in the photo.
good lord.
trying to look it up for corect spelling was somewhat of a waste. I found many many sites with many alternate spellings
Could you not yell; just once? My ears hurt.
Loved it.
got it w/o first pic. However, if you figure that out, it's easy. He shares a name with all of us.
[10] His initials are my initials too! ;)
... Well, not really, but that's what I'd say.
Gosh ... I've got that in my head now ....
dadadadadadada!
Omg I'll never spell that correctly.
10 tries...
20 tries...
Someone send me the "correct" spelling please. This is ridiculous!!
It's even my name too and I can't get it.
Lost
My son loves this because we always go LaLALaLAla really loud at the end
thanks for the comment about the song!
first try. nice puzzle.
It is spelled correctly at wikipedia
ARGH, I can't spell it right!
head slap! Fun! The Mrs. got it for us.
i've never heard of this song before
Thank goodness for google and salt and stuff.
Just as corn jingle, I jump pondmitt! LALALALALA DADADADADA
Doh, still wrong.
C'mon, it wasn't THAT hard to spell.
Or maybe I'm just good at spelling.
[13] too salty. I wouldn't have gotten it if it weren't for your post.
gwaaaa I know it, and went to google for the spelling, but using google's spelling, it is saying I'm wrong!
nix that, I was stupid and thought I was playing One Word Wonder, so used no spaces
some of these comments gave it away... but seriously, i dont see what some of the pics have to do with it
Neat! It's been ages since my Boy Scout days.
There he goes again, the spelling is indeed correct at wikipedia
The pole vault thing isn't pole vault apparently... I don't know how it was supposed to fit into the answer...
This guys last name has too many silent but deadlies. What is that awful shouting? Every single time we get together, I hear that darn shouting! Make it stop, make it stop!
[37] I didn't get that either, or the bottom middle, although I did notice the bottom middle looks a awful lot like Montana. Please don't confuse my pepper for salt, just a simple useless observation.
I used the top row plus the last picture to get it. On second thought, I don't get the corn either. I got the last two pics on the top row right away, because I just got done doing jewelia's hypercross. From there all I needed was the guy's name and it was a cinch.
[37] [38] Is it always called pole vaulting?
[37][40] The event depicted isn't the pole vault. Think of another track and field event that involves jumping.
I STILL don't have the correct spelling of this. I've cut and pasted the Wikipedia spelling into the answer space - still doesn't take it.
[42] I sent you a tangagram.
NEVER heard of it. Thank god for Google.
the comments here are waaayy salty. Got the answer even having initially thought it had something to do with the last row of pictures saying "jump on it" - jump pond mitt......yeah...
ARRRRRGH!
I finally figured it out -- but it won't take any of the MANY different spellings I've entered.
Bah.
Keep your measly Tanga points.
Thanks to salt and google I got it pretty quick. However, if I didn't have those tools I would've given up long ago. Sang it in 1st grade a lot, too.
You solved this puzzle in 16 hours, 46 minutes and 59 seconds and were the 338th Tanga member to solve it. You earned 10 points for solving this.
Wikipedia's spelling is correct BUT you had to already know the original name - not the americanized version with Smith.
i got the spelling on the first try. I am amazing! Or at least I am amazed I could possibly pull that off
[49] Yeah i got the spelling without google too. I forgot about the smith spelling....
Why does Tanga keep posting puzzles with ridiculous, impossible-to-spell answers?!?!
This is so f%*^ing annoying!
Otherwise, nice puzzle.
very clever - even got it on the first spelling
WaHOOOO! Spelled right, and everything!
I can't believe I spelled that correctly on the first try!
You solved this puzzle in 9 minutes and 51 seconds and were the 372nd Tanga member to solve it.
I had the answer running through my head after about a minute a half, but it took me another 8 minutes to justify it.
Now reading the comments.
[45], that ain't a pond. Not a lake either, which is what I was thinking.
[48], there's an Americanised spelling with Smith? Never heard of it.
And I can only think of one way to spell it, which fortunately is the right way. Maybe I should google it to find all these alternative spellings that people are stumbling on.
I got it in 7 minutes. I was breaking one of the words into two words.
Nice puzzle! Thanks cyncat!
