cool. good nite for me.

Hah. Lucked out and got it quickly. Cute.

Do we have to know what that critter is?

[3] critter?

Looking at the original picture this image came from and can see at least three things missing, but none of them are coming up correct.

not getting this......

[4] Yes, the typewriter. It's the only thing in the picture (unless the missing elephant is what I'm looking for). :)

[6] You know what's missing. There's one clue that will give you the word you want.

*scratches head*

What?

does the capital LAZY have anything to do with it?

how bout a little seasoning here?

ya

It really should be "mouse."

[14] Heck, it should be a lot of things but none of them are working for me.

[12] Look at the picture. What catches your eye?

the words?????

the missing shift???

tanga needs a chat room. this would be so much easier.......

[11] LAZY is very important. there r two things that really stand out that r missing, but only one if them is used in the answer.

[17] It'll help if you're not so ambitious.

[18] You're onto something. Try less, though.

lol [22]. thats kinda salty tho.

I wouldn't know what's supposed to be on a typewriter... too young!

So, the answer isn't really what is missing.

Ugh, that was bad.

this is so confusing

I had no idea that's what that meant. And it's not the caret that's missing.

[22] just salty enough! Thanks!

[25] I kind of thought it was a neat puzzle.

[22] salterrific

a thesaurus worked extremely well for me

Yup, a thesaurus was the key....

ick (but good)

shift caret space? I'm focusing on annie

argh horrible.

[19] If you're serious about that, send me a Tangagram

finally got it!!!!!!!!!! 142!!!!!!!!!

[38] Me too!!

Finally! 174

OMG.............. groan................. 179th.....

bah! thanks [22]

top 200!!!nice!!!

206. The answer isn't what's missing, it's how you might describe an object that is missing that.

I've never heard anyone used that word before =/

Geez, it was right in front of me, but at the same time it wasn't right in front of me...

Good lord almighty. Only took me nearly 12 hours to get it, but once I had my morning Coke it clicked.

Thanks for the thesaurus hints - that helped:)

I'm still lost. I don't see any keys missing from the typewriter, so I'm not sure where else to look.

[22] is too salty.

[50]Not salty enough for me. :( I see the shift and the caret seem to be missing but entering in either one isn't it.

Edit: Finally got this one. Thanks, [58], that was indeed the salt I needed. I usually don't like it when people bash on puzzles, but this one was a bit obscure. Mildly clever yes, but that was frustrating for me to work through.

Finally got it... use a thesaurus and the answer will jump out at you from the list of synonyms. It is not a word I know.

[24] I remember using a typewriter very much like this one for high school and college papers. Each key stroke was loud, you had to use correction tape (or worse, white out) to fix errors, and heaven help you if you had to re-insert the paper and try to align the type again. Yeah, those were the days...

perhaps if I was looking for synonyms for the right word...

got it... not terribly hard with all the salt out there but not really fun either.

I don't get it, I found 3 missing words, but not the solution

[57] As others have said, a thesaurus is very helpful. You don't want to look up what you believe is missing, as that would be the answer. So what other word in the puzzle might you want to reference?

[52] your problem actually gave me an idea - and it worked! reread your post for some self-salt!

[22] That was perfectly seasoned. I don't know how you guys figure it out. I must be blocking something from my childhood.

Sorry, 'apathetic' is not correct. Please try again

(And through the magic of asking for help, the answer comes to me)

*GROAN*

*sigh* that was kinda out there for me...I understand the jump though.

cute, but not in my vocabulary.

even with all this salt I am totally lost - I know I am not stupid, but I sure feel that way right now...

[65]
1. look for wats missing on the key board.
2. wat other word in the puzzle seems important.
3. try to apply 1. to 2. use a thesaurus if u need one

That was not worth the time spent.

Definitely a puzzle that needed work. For example, there's more than one thing missing from that typewriter. Granted, they are the same thing, but it's not a plural that they're looking for. Plus, technically they aren't missing...
