How you would need to back-solve this is beyond me. Once you know the right words to use, it's pretty easy to figure them ALL out. Well, unless you have that certain condition that would make it difficult.
actually, I don't have that certain condition that makes it difficult and I was still thrown by one of them... the bottom one.... It looked different to me... finally figured it out when it was the only one that didn't fit anywhere.

Ok, I got it, and then I had to just comtemplate my idiocy rather than post. I had two ideas for the puzzle immediately, and one of them was right. But of course, I miscounted and that threw me off-track. I recounted an hour later and realized I was right. Grrrrrrrrr.
If you are stuck still, let me say that the bottom image should probably be a bit darker than it looks.

Awesome! Solved it in 3 minutes, with no idea how, just a single wild guess. Then five more minutes to get the 'how'. Lovely puzzle. So nice when they don't take me all night.

Alright, I like this one. Seemed straightforward until nothing fit. Then I went down the wrong path trying to figure out if each had an alternate name like the badmiton thing being called a "shuttlecock".
