What impresses me isn't so much the puzzle itself, but that it *works*. That you took the time (or even cooler, maybe it was wonderfully effortless) to FIND this puzzle, to get the pieces to not only work, but make a really nice answer.
"You are a freaking genius!!, you solved this puzzle.
You solved this puzzle in 9 minutes and 49 seconds and were the 100th Tanga member to solve it. You earned 11 points for solving this. "
===
WOW! 1st time I earned more than 10 points.
but I'm not smart. or maybe I am. I built an excel spreadsheet. three cells to manipulate, three cells are fixed by the clues. 9.5 of my 10 miinutes taken by building the spreadsheet.
[6], [7] Yup, had the wrong numbers. My numbers worked, but the letters didn't. Instead of just trying a different set, I went on to the hypercross, missed bonus points by just 2 spots there and then came back here to finish 117th. I guess I should have just stuck to one puzzle of the other. Oh well.
[10][17] Even with a closed interval including 1 and 30, the answer is unique based on the rules stated in the puzzle (e.g. they are all different numbers).
Good puzzle. I was getting tired and was almost going to skip this tonight, but saw it was a murdoctor and decided to stay up a bit later (5 minutes and 18 seconds) to solve it ... glad I did!
[21] Using a number unique to the closed interval causes the 1st and 4th numbers to be the same, which goes against the first statement about the numbers being different.
EDIT: Meant for this to be directed at comment #21, not my own. How dumb.

So, I have some numbers, now what. Applying them the "normal" way gives me gibberish.

[5] well thats what you do. apply them the normal way. or ur numbers are wrong.

The "normal" way works, so maybe you got the wrong numbers...

The ambiguity of "between" vis-a-vis open and closed intervals.

Yeah, I guess that's between, meaning Not 1 and Not 30. Open interval.

[19] I think on the closed interval, there is a 2nd set of numbers. Of course, those numbers don't tanga quite so well. :)

[14], [19] Oh, that was my initial problem. I didn't read closely enough. My first set of numbers were not all unique. I am the answer!
