There's punctuation.

Of course it does. :)

[1] Yes - clued by "robin's" and "duck's"

i thought it was a goose at first....

dang it is exactly what it shows

just couldn't see it

a great one

Ah, made that harder than it should have been. When it clicks it clicks. :) Good puzzle.

I was going for the wrong thing for 7 minutes. Then I got it. 66th. It should have been a freebie.

[7] nice :)

hmm i dont see it.

I don't see it either.

I don't see it either

Me, either.

love it!

me either

posted, saw it, edited to acknowledge the posting magic worked again!

No idea why this is marked as 4 stars for difficulty. You solved this puzzle in 20 seconds and were the 1st Tanga member to solve it. You earned 110 points for solving this.

[9][10][11][12]

You have two other birds... and where they are. You need to figure out what that third bird is, and then where it is.

It should fit the same pattern as the other two:

This (bird's) (where it is).

Then figure out what the answer should *really* be :)

[13] Thanks. I'm particularly pleased with the graphocs/layout on this one. More than the puzzle itself :)

My frustration tonight was that when I had the right answer, I got a message telling me there was a problem, please refresh the page.

very nice -- can't believe I didn't see it, even with the big bright arrow

[15] Thanks. I hope the people who aren't getting it, rerate after they do :) But if not, well... that's Tanga!

Ditto, [19]. Forest for the trees...

Very nice, Arnott!

[16] Oh. I kept trying to fit them all together - with a giant yellow arrow involved somehow... ;)

I also now have a Silver Convention song stuck in my head, thank you very much... :-)

Hm... I don't think the punctuation is quite consistent with the clues.

[16] you made it all clear!

not getting it... :o(

I've put that bird everywhere I can think of

[5] It is? Hmmm...

Edit: I clearly can't think like Arnott!

wow how did i not see that. great puzzle arnott.

I loved the arrow, for once even my tired eyes could see what I was supposed to see. Thanks for taking those of us with bad eyesight into consideration.

I feel like I know what I am supposed to do but I am not getting it correct. Any salt for how to phrase it.

I've put him in the middle,on top, inbetween, on the roof, on the house, laying down, on black, on gray...even on Earth
blahh ...

EDIT OMG I am sooo dumb...finally clicked

[30] try your answers again...this time w/ the bird, and say it slowly.

[30] #5

[30] Well, you said it in there... it's not "on the roof", but that's close.

I was being too literal

rat pong! I'll drink to that!

[30] EDIT... LOL. I've totally been there :)

ahhhhhh! I have put the bird "on the everything" and still not working.

[37] me too... wondering if it isn't supposed to be on anything

[37][38] TGs sent.

sounding out what you think the answer is helps

[37] [38] type of bird and what it is on; now run them together as the robin and the duck are described

That white bird sure would be an ugly duckling

[39] thx... it finally clicked... I going to bed... need more sleep!

Okay, All. I'm off for the night. Play nice.

Tried it all and can't get it. Sad sad sad.

This swan is on the roof?

But it makes sense...

Great puzzle, Arnott!

It sure isn't a fiddler on the roof!

I know the bird. I can only think of two things that describe where it is. I must be missing something since neither one gives me points.

i got it but it won't take... grrr ill try different punctuation. love it tho!

finally got it...

Had to sleep on it and look at some salt but I finally got it! Nice one

Nice puzzle from the guru of Vinci.

ARRRRRGH! knew it last night, but was making it more difficult by trying to put too much into the solution.

doh... missed the last step.

The answer is missing the final period that is in the clues.

forget the roof. Think bigger.

I get the feeling it's just a reference that I don't know. There used to be an ice cream parlor in my home town by that name. Is this about soup, maybe?

Yeah - got it in like 5 seconds and then spent two minutes on punctuation.

Man, feel like a nice cold, free beer after that puzzle.

Thanks [55] that was the missing bit. I was stuck on the roof for so long.

Very nice, and way to hold our hand through it.

Ach so.

fubar!

Cripes! Jiminy! [16] salt helped...

[16] Silver Convention? no salt I'm guessing...

also... "rat pong"? [35].

[57] made it click. "FREE" is the key word.

still don't have a clue
Great puzzle Finally got it.

The type of bird doesn't matter. Where is it and how would that fit given the other statements.

The type of bird does make it easier though.
