  10. FileTomatobcgrote on Mon Apr 28, 2008 07:22 PM

OK, I've found 4 names for that last one!
    Is it:
    A flight
    A bomb for a submarine
    A guess
    or
    A heroin/crack/drug thing????

  11. UntitledPeachtdallis on Mon Apr 28, 2008 07:27 PM

[11] should be flagged for the drug references!! LOL!!

unsure salt : "are they cappucinos or fraps?"

  12. SunsetPearapol77 on Mon Apr 28, 2008 07:26 PM

tdallis send me a tanagram. im lost

  13. Avatar1_edited-2Sailboataurnivi on Mon Apr 28, 2008 07:27 PM

I feel like I can figure out everything but 5 and 8..,salt?

  14. FilePancakesMysticalmelody on Mon Apr 28, 2008 07:30 PM

It would be nice if we could copy paste from this :P

  15. UntitledPeachtdallis on Mon Apr 28, 2008 07:34 PM

who ever really solved this should give salt

  16. SunsetPearapol77 on Mon Apr 28, 2008 07:45 PM

[10] you said that you already solved it

  17. FileCheeseburgerHrothgar24 on Mon Apr 28, 2008 07:45 PM

[15] Yes, being able to cut and paste would have made this go a lot quicker. As it is, though Google is your friend on this puzzle

  18. New_scout_logoCheeseburgerscoutmom on Mon Apr 28, 2008 07:45 PM

I don't know which is worse - this puzzle or the site issues.

  19. FileGarlicmartinp13 on Mon Apr 28, 2008 07:47 PM

Google hasn't helped me much at all. 2 and 6 aren't on the *bux site.

  20. New_scout_logoCheeseburgerscoutmom on Mon Apr 28, 2008 07:47 PM

Four people have solved this. Perhaps they would be willing to share a little with the rest of us?

  21. FileBananaBobcat on Mon Apr 28, 2008 07:50 PM

I refuse to answer this one, on the basis that I loathe Starbucks.

  22. FileRadishvandy on Mon Apr 28, 2008 07:50 PM

[16], [17], [21] they probably took off for starbucks and aren't around to help us out.

  23. FileDuckienrkii on Mon Apr 28, 2008 07:50 PM

I can't figure out the last one, even with google

  24. Avatar1_edited-2Sailboataurnivi on Mon Apr 28, 2008 07:51 PM

    google what?

  25. PumpkinEggCrazyKids on Mon Apr 28, 2008 07:51 PM

Here we call the last one a "Shot in the Dark". Perhaps someone can tg me a better name.

  26. FileCheeseburgerHrothgar24 on Mon Apr 28, 2008 07:52 PM

[20] Odd, I typed the descriptions in the puzzle into Google and jotted down the names related to the Google results. The last one was odd, because there was only a few references, but the first one or so was good.

  27. FileCheeseburgerHrothgar24 on Mon Apr 28, 2008 07:53 PM

Just retried the last clue - Google the phrase in quotes... should narrow down the results

  28. FilePancakesMysticalmelody on Mon Apr 28, 2008 07:54 PM

I can't find the last one and the pieces i'm getting from the first two don't fit together no matter which letter variation i use for the second one

  29. FilePancakesepaz on Mon Apr 28, 2008 07:56 PM

[26] Google that phrase, and the "right" one--at least for this puzzle--should come up. (And get ready to paint the town.)

(I googled a lot for this one--I don't drink coffee!)

[29] I thought so too, but then I remembered that Elvis Lives.

  30. Avatar_profileEggplantrdunlap1125 on Mon Apr 28, 2008 07:57 PM

Ugh... the last item is not from the Starbucks menu (found it at Wikipedia as a generic coffee drink), and a purposeless and unclued anagram to boot.

  31. FileDuckienrkii on Mon Apr 28, 2008 07:57 PM

shoot, then I have something else wrong

  32. FileDuckienrkii on Mon Apr 28, 2008 07:59 PM

shoot, I missed the ice in the first one, now I've got it

  33. FileGarlicHope2002 on Mon Apr 28, 2008 08:08 PM

[31] Anagramming is usually an unnecessary step. I wish people would avoid it.

  34. FileOnionJohn on Mon Apr 28, 2008 08:10 PM

This doesn't seem easy or fun. Sorry.

  35. FileTomatotlmitch7 on Mon Apr 28, 2008 08:11 PM

Now I am just curious as to who [6] was and what they said.

  36. FilePepperdajagr on Mon Apr 28, 2008 08:14 PM

[34] At least, in puzzles like this one, where there was already an arbitrary order involved. I suppose it keeps people from getting three letters and then guessing, but when there's no indication you're going to get something scrambled, when you get three letters that can't make a word, it's usually a "wrong route" indicator.

  37. FileGarlicmartinp13 on Mon Apr 28, 2008 08:20 PM

Any salt on 2 or 7? I found a site explaining multiple shots in coffee, but not ONE shot in coffee. (Coffee with three shots is called a Kennedy.... how tacky!)

  38. FilePancakesepaz on Mon Apr 28, 2008 08:31 PM

    [38] For 7, see comments [26] and [30]. For 2, I googled "Misto" & the S-word.

  39. FileGarlicmartinp13 on Mon Apr 28, 2008 08:31 PM

[39] Thx, the "paint the town" picked the right one for #7. Finally found #2 elsewhere.

  40. FilePancakesjmcintyre on Mon Apr 28, 2008 08:35 PM

"The answer" was truly missing from this puzzle, for me for a while at least. It sure helps if you can count.

  41. FilePepperhairy_lime on Mon Apr 28, 2008 08:51 PM

    I think I have 1 - 7 but something must be wrong because they won't make a word. I hate coffee ...

  42. Avatar_profileRadishLegendDan on Mon Apr 28, 2008 08:56 PM

Thanks, [41]. I only had 6 letters and was beating my head in. Then I counted.

  43. FilePepperhairy_lime on Mon Apr 28, 2008 09:02 PM

Can I TG what I have to someone for help?

  44. FileRadishMetalVic on Mon Apr 28, 2008 10:59 PM

Don't see why the puzzle maker needed to add that last step (at least not without hinting that it's there).

  45. Avatar_profilePlumbleirrot on Mon Apr 28, 2008 11:18 PM

Could not find the last clue for the life of me... gave up and used a scrabble solver =(

  46. FileAppledlandon2000 on Tue Apr 29, 2008 08:54 AM

I'm a coffee snob and I couldn't get this, too many names for similar drinks and too many ways to make similar drinks. Combine that with numerous languages to name them in and it's pretty daunting!!

  47. FileBananaCardzmaster2004 on Tue Apr 29, 2008 01:53 PM

    Dangit...

I think I have all the right letters, but am pretty sure I'm missing another step. And Eye <3 Coffee too...

    Help, anyone?

  48. FileDuckiedharmaRN on Tue Jul 26, 2011 11:31 AM

It's a rarity to find clear answers to these...
