This would have been fun the day after Christmas
dang that movie title gave me a bit of trouble, but hey. made exactly 100th this time. earliest for me in a long time.
is that a gate?
This one took me over 4 minutes. I got held up with the "e". What color is it?
good heavens....i'm an idiot....thanks [4]
And in this corner, wearing the tattered hides of his former opponents...
why do people INSIST on using punctuation?
[7] because it's proper grammar. I don't mind when it changes the meaning of the word, but commas and question marks are more annoying.
grr... help with the movie?
[9] you know those controllers that shake?
[9] - Do what I did: an IMDB movie title search with the word 'fish' in it. There's not that many.
[4]that was all I needed - thank you
yes, [4] is great salt - didn't need the movie title
[11] ?! only 291 title with "fish" in it how is that "not that many"?!
[11] and I went through the 109 that end in "fish" and didn't find the cover art shown in the puzzle.
edit:
went back and the cover art is there
[15] There's something about the guy in that movie, why don't you search for him on imdb?
I feel like I'm so close yet so far. LOL I have the words, but they just aren't clicking. Oiy it's gonna be a long day.
where does the punctuation go i have the phrase.
[18] after the third letter
[16] I didn't search for the guy - because i have no freaking idea who he is... that is the problem with using images of people (and I know the puzzle maker is not relying on this in this clue - this is just a general statememt). I can't think of one person who is universally recognized by all demographics. (Even Elvis may not be familiar to those born in the 90's - *gasp*)
If the graphics had been higher resolution, I may have been able to zoom in on the image to grab a name - but alas, zooming in doesn't reveal legible credits...
That fishy dude is a drugstore cowboy
Thanks [4]. Couldn't figure it out until I read that.
So are you allowed to use this phrase without permission? I thought the guy who owned the phrase was pretty stupidly possessive of it? :D
[23] you're fired?
[19]The "There's something about" part was salt, a bit too subtle I guess... I appologize, I'm not very good at subtle salt, it was my first attempt.
Needed [4] to get it.
It's been a while since I've seen a reference to "Blitzkrieg Bop."
ugh
Enjoyed this one!!!!
