  3. FilePumpkinthorboy on Mon Feb 25, 2008 07:07 PM

    is that a gate?

  4. Avatar_profileGrapesjshurt on Mon Feb 25, 2008 07:08 PM

This one took me over 4 minutes. I got held up with the "e". What color is it?

  5. FilePumpkinthorboy on Mon Feb 25, 2008 07:09 PM

    good heavens....i'm an idiot....thanks [4]

  6. FileBananaBobcat on Mon Feb 25, 2008 07:19 PM

And in this corner, wearing the tattered hides of his former opponents...

  7. AvatarSailboatjjcool on Mon Feb 25, 2008 07:33 PM

why do people INSIST on using punctuation?

  8. FileStrawberryaaron01edwards on Mon Feb 25, 2008 07:58 PM

[7] because it's proper grammar. I don't mind when it changes the meaning of the word, but commas and question marks are more annoying.

  9. FileDuckiespoofme on Mon Feb 25, 2008 09:03 PM

    grr... help with the movie?

  10. AvaCarrotdavego on Mon Feb 25, 2008 09:17 PM

[9] you know those controllers that shake?

  11. FileBananaBobcat on Tue Feb 26, 2008 12:05 AM

[9] - Do what I did: an IMDB movie title search with the word 'fish' in it. There's not that many.

  12. FileSailboatyelowflower on Tue Feb 26, 2008 01:40 AM

[4]that was all I needed - thank you

  13. Avatar_profilePlumMensa on Tue Feb 26, 2008 03:21 AM

yes, [4] is great salt - didn't need the movie title

  14. PirateleadfootPumpkinleadfoot on Tue Feb 26, 2008 03:56 AM

[11] ?! only 291 title with "fish" in it how is that "not that many"?!

  15. PirateleadfootPumpkinleadfoot on Tue Feb 26, 2008 04:58 AM

[11] and I went through the 109 that end in "fish" and didn't find the cover art shown in the puzzle.

    edit:
went back and the cover art is there

  16. FileAppleragulo on Tue Feb 26, 2008 05:01 AM

[15] There's something about the guy in that movie, why don't you search for him on imdb?

  17. Cuicocha2Sailboathokie98 on Tue Feb 26, 2008 05:10 AM

I feel like I'm so close yet so far. LOL I have the words, but they just aren't clicking. Oiy it's gonna be a long day.

  18. Avatar_profileBananatrevelyan on Tue Feb 26, 2008 05:33 AM

where does the punctuation go i have the phrase.

  19. PirateleadfootPumpkinleadfoot on Tue Feb 26, 2008 05:49 AM

    [18] after the third letter

  20. PirateleadfootPumpkinleadfoot on Tue Feb 26, 2008 05:56 AM

[16] I didn't search for the guy - because i have no freaking idea who he is... that is the problem with using images of people (and I know the puzzle maker is not relying on this in this clue - this is just a general statememt). I can't think of one person who is universally recognized by all demographics. (Even Elvis may not be familiar to those born in the 90's - *gasp*)

If the graphics had been higher resolution, I may have been able to zoom in on the image to grab a name - but alas, zooming in doesn't reveal legible credits...

  21. FileGarlicChupper on Tue Feb 26, 2008 06:38 AM

That fishy dude is a drugstore cowboy

  22. Avatar_profileOrangekmeadows on Tue Feb 26, 2008 07:25 AM

Thanks [4]. Couldn't figure it out until I read that.

  23. Avatar_profileGrapessigmazero13 on Tue Feb 26, 2008 10:34 AM

So are you allowed to use this phrase without permission? I thought the guy who owned the phrase was pretty stupidly possessive of it? :D

  24. Avatar_profileAppletravelocity on Tue Feb 26, 2008 11:04 AM

    [23] you're fired?

  25. FileAppleragulo on Tue Feb 26, 2008 12:51 PM

[19]The "There's something about" part was salt, a bit too subtle I guess... I appologize, I'm not very good at subtle salt, it was my first attempt.

  26. FileAppleFez on Tue Feb 26, 2008 01:53 PM

    Needed [4] to get it.

  27. FileEggplantjtotheh on Tue Feb 26, 2008 02:47 PM

It's been a while since I've seen a reference to "Blitzkrieg Bop."

  28. FileOrangedebsprpldragon on Tue Feb 26, 2008 05:27 PM

    ugh

  29. Brownie_sundaeDuckiebrownie1 on Thu Jul 21, 2011 02:32 PM
