  3. FileGarlicmartinp13 on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:14 PM

wahhhh... got the answer but don't know what to do with it.

  4. FileEggplantjtotheh on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:16 PM

Okay, I see something I recognize with the last five letters, but the first three don't seem to make anything.

EDIT: NM, I can't count to three.

  5. FileApplefletchbm on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:16 PM

I have all the words, even gotten a secondary word from those, and then nothing!

  6. Img_0189Egggst on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:17 PM

    [5] almost there!

Nice puzzle, maybe a little too straightforward.

  7. FileGarlicmartinp13 on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:17 PM

grrrrr... fletch just keep trying. The answer unfortunately isn't a K thing. Coulda been!

  8. Img_0189Egggst on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:18 PM

    [7] sure it is.

  9. FileSailboatsteve59 on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:23 PM

[8] not like it really koulda.

  10. FileBananagrant5 on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:25 PM

[4] I think I'm right there with you

  11. FileGarlicHope2002 on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:26 PM

It's a K thing the same as the first one is.

  12. FileApplewmshub on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:28 PM

Got the blanks, now what? They make no sense.

Edit: Never mind. Got it right after I typed that.

  13. FilePeachSquirlwfleas on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:30 PM

I'm still a bit of a newbie here...now that I have the answers to each line...what do I do next? I'm not seeing what I should be seeing to find an answer. Any hints?

  14. FileCarrotwarrenzevon on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:31 PM

rat pong! Top 100 all four tonight!

  15. FileApplefletchbm on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:32 PM

I finally got it... i actually had it before, forgot it was a OWW

  16. FileSailboatsteve59 on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:33 PM

[14] it really is a rat pong night.

  17. FileBananagrant5 on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:35 PM

from filling the blanks do you get two words? I have a 3 letter and a 5 letter, but I can't get them to make a final answer.

  18. FileSailboatsteve59 on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:38 PM

keep going [17], you're almost there.

  19. FilePeachSquirlwfleas on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:39 PM

Slap me in the head! I GOT IT!! : )

  20. FileBananagrant5 on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:41 PM

does it have to do with chemistry?

  21. FileSailboatsteve59 on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:41 PM

consider it done, [19], and congrats.

  22. FileSailboatsteve59 on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:42 PM

    [20], not... really.

  23. FileSailboatdagibbs on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:48 PM

    Woot! Top 100!

You solved this puzzle in 5 minutes and 36 seconds and were the 83rd Tanga member to solve it. You earned 28 points for solving this.

This was one of the more (to me) obvious Hard Puzzles I've hit. It did take a bit of googling for some of them, though. But once I got the words... no problems.

And the answer is properly in theme, if you think about it right.

  24. Avatar_profileGrapespacman5 on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:49 PM

You solved this puzzle in 24 minutes and 18 seconds and were the 87th Tanga member to solve it. You earned 24 points for solving this.

Had the right approach just kept getting dyslexic and writing down the wrong letters

  25. FileSailboatsteve59 on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:51 PM

[24] that happened to me on the easy tonight. don't ask me how r became the appropriate letter for three in a row.

  26. FileBananagrant5 on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:55 PM

    Thanks for the TG [22]!

  27. FilePumpkinjeffg on Tue Mar 04, 2008 05:38 AM

Good straightforward puzzle, but the answer isn't quite a match with the theme, though many think it is.

  28. FilePancakestempus42 on Tue Mar 04, 2008 05:46 AM

very nice - i liked this one a lot

  29. TangaPlumSonOfYoda on Tue Mar 04, 2008 06:20 AM

    [27] Sure it is ... right ?

  30. FileGarlicChupper on Tue Mar 04, 2008 06:35 AM

    Cool puzzle!

  31. Avatar_profilePlumtiprod on Tue Mar 04, 2008 07:22 AM

Good puzzle! Answer fits for me... inverse of 'm'

  32. FileOnionimapuzzl on Tue Mar 04, 2008 07:39 AM

Sweet. Everything fits. Final answer is great!

  33. FileGarlicHope2002 on Tue Mar 04, 2008 08:07 AM

Perhaps the answer is too obscure for some people, but it definitely fits. Check out the first, fifth and sixth. They are similar to the answer. It works on a slang level and on the symbolic level. Go metric.

  34. Avatar_profileCarrotTwench on Tue Mar 04, 2008 08:15 AM

I think you mean second, fifth, and sixth.

  35. MickeyKiwisholmste on Tue Mar 04, 2008 08:49 AM

Another great straight forward puzzle. All info is there for a solve without needing any comments. Excellent job!

  36. Bunny91Garlicheatherlouwho on Tue Mar 04, 2008 09:01 AM

LOVED it, cyncat! I just wish it had come up on time!

  37. FilePumpkinthorboy on Tue Mar 04, 2008 09:51 AM

    excellent

  38. FilePepperpepperhead on Tue Mar 04, 2008 11:01 AM

that was a grand old time an a ton of fun!! now if I can figure out the easy

  39. FileAppledlandon2000 on Tue Mar 04, 2008 11:32 AM

a decent puzzle, probably is too straight forward for a hard puzzle.

  40. FilePotatoDandelion_Wine on Tue Mar 04, 2008 02:44 PM

Awesome puzzle! It appealed to the geek in me.

  41. FilePlumseasidebruin on Tue Mar 04, 2008 05:06 PM

Wow... my first "Hard One Word Wonder"

  42. FilePeppercyncat on Tue Mar 04, 2008 06:25 PM

    Thanks for all the compliments.

  43. Avatar_profileOnionrvitale68 on Tue Mar 04, 2008 06:26 PM

Got a 3 letter and 5 letter word like [17] now horribly stuck.

  44. FilePeppercyncat on Tue Mar 04, 2008 06:56 PM

[43] If you're thinking of a two-word answer to that math expression, just type in the second word.
