    It's not Desperado... clueless.

  7. FileBananaBobcat on Feb 27, 2008 07:08 PM

80th. Such a lovely puzzle. Just easy enough to be an EOWW, without being *too* easy.

  8. FileCarrotblahmcblah on Feb 27, 2008 07:09 PM

I must be the only one on Tanga not getting either this or the Cryptopix tonight...

  10. FileCarrotblahmcblah on Feb 27, 2008 07:11 PM

"You solved this puzzle in 5 minutes and 12 seconds and were the 102nd Tanga member to solve it. You earned 10 points for solving this."

should have had it in one. I should have remembered the "one" in one world wonder.

[10] Put the words you get in the order given?

  13. New_scout_logoCheeseburgerscoutmom on Feb 27, 2008 07:15 PM

When you figure out what each one is, write them out the same way they appear, stacked.

  14. FileApplekirklimon on Feb 27, 2008 07:18 PM

[6] It helps if you write out the answers...

  15. DaddysleepsPotatoTankerbay on Feb 27, 2008 07:28 PM

yup, write out the titles, then use the word you get to get the answer.

  16. FileSailboatyelowflower on Feb 27, 2008 07:30 PM

  18. EarlyCarrotxanadudan on Feb 27, 2008 07:36 PM

in one guess based on [9]'s comment. perhaps too salty?

  19. FilePotatorevchewie on Feb 27, 2008 07:45 PM

One minute, six seconds. Is it just me or does the fourth one not fit the theme of the rest of the puzzle? If I'm missing something there, could someone TG me? Thanks!

Great puzzle! Obviously I got it from the rest. Easily gave me a peaceful feeling.

  20. FilePeppercyncat on Feb 27, 2008 07:50 PM

    [19] TG sent.

  21. FilePotatorevchewie on Feb 27, 2008 07:52 PM

    Thanks, cyncat.

  22. AvatarSailboatjjcool on Feb 27, 2008 07:55 PM

not really sure how to get the answer from the puzzle, other than them being reformulated titles, but I got the answer anyway.

  23. FilePepperdajagr on Feb 27, 2008 10:46 PM

Okay, so if I were familiar with, like, any of these...

  24. Avatar_profilePlumMensa on Feb 28, 2008 02:22 AM

[9] gave me the nudge to the answer = thanks

  25. PirateleadfootPumpkinleadfoot on Feb 28, 2008 04:27 AM

  26. Sc002a57f6Pumpkinrunart on Feb 28, 2008 04:58 AM

    amen,leadfoot.

  27. FilePepperChupper on Feb 28, 2008 07:11 AM

I'm not a morning person, I don't know why I usually try to do these in the morning. Stuck on the first two clues. Angina Tonight?

Edit: NM, of course I got it right after posting. I totally ignored the background and though they were movies.

  28. Bunny91Garlicheatherlouwho on Feb 28, 2008 07:09 AM

    [3] Congrats!

  29. Bunny91Garlicheatherlouwho on Feb 28, 2008 07:10 AM

[27] What's another word for angina?

Also, try going and finding the album on Amazon. Then look at the track listing.

  30. FilePepperChupper on Feb 28, 2008 07:12 AM

Thanks [29], I edited my post above. It wasn't so much not finding the right album as not figuring out the most obvious basic step of the puzzle!

  31. FilePeppercyncat on Feb 28, 2008 09:23 AM

I'm glad Heather, Cardzmaster, bobcat, and revchewie liked this. Thanks!

  32. Avatar_profileLemonChrisrob on Feb 28, 2008 01:30 PM

I did not get it or the linkage was not very clear to get to the answer. I just guessed at the answer until I got it right after not knowing what to do with the clues.

    :(

  33. FilePeppercyncat on Feb 28, 2008 01:54 PM

Get 5 Eagles songs from the 5 clues. Then get one letter from each of the songs. The resulting 5-letter word will remind you of another Eagles song.

  34. Photo_4Grapesredneon on Feb 28, 2008 03:58 PM

I checked out and left 26 years ago.

  35. FileLemonwightwolf on Feb 28, 2008 04:26 PM

    I agree with [7]

  36. FilePeppercyncat on Feb 28, 2008 04:34 PM

    [34] :)

You can check out any time you like,
    But you can never leave!

  37. FilePeppercyncat on Feb 28, 2008 04:42 PM

    [35] Thanks, wightwolf.
