Fun one! my wireless keyboard decided to go psycho on me, so it took me forever to type in the answer and get rid of all the extra keystokes!

  8. FileTomatotlmitch7 on Sat Apr 26, 2008 07:21 PM

Fun one, but I think this puzzle should have been on a Tuesday.

  11. Ron-burgundyPlumsub1ime on Sat Apr 26, 2008 07:32 PM

Got it, but I have no idea what it means?

  12. TommyPeachtomgrom on Sat Apr 26, 2008 07:34 PM

I have no idea. Any salt?

  13. FileSailboatdagibbs on Sat Apr 26, 2008 08:01 PM

[11] It is a reference to a movie by way of (IIRC) Saturday Night Live.

  14. FileClockJewelia on Sat Apr 26, 2008 08:23 PM

    Loved this one!

  15. FileApplewmshub on Sat Apr 26, 2008 08:24 PM

[11] [13] Actually, this phrase figured prominently in the movie itself.

  16. FilePancakesCWarrior on Sat Apr 26, 2008 08:26 PM

Was this submitted around the time Charleton Heston died?

  17. Phi3CornPhilana on Sat Apr 26, 2008 08:39 PM

    [16] Yes.

  18. FileSailboatdagibbs on Sat Apr 26, 2008 08:47 PM

[15] Yes, it was prominent in the movie, but may have entered popular culture/been popularized through an SNL skit.

  19. FileRocketAveOscuro on Sat Apr 26, 2008 08:49 PM

Fun,I got the first part right away but the second part threw me off for a bit.
..............WARNING............. -the answer spoils the surprise-

  20. Avatar_profileStrawberrynbuchko on Sat Apr 26, 2008 09:44 PM

I got it but have no idea what it means or what it is from.

  21. FileOnionJohn on Sat Apr 26, 2008 09:47 PM

[20] You could always try googling it...

And I first heard of this when Chris Carter's Millennium was on TV.

  22. Avatar_profileStrawberryTroy on Sat Apr 26, 2008 09:50 PM

    lol. I loved this one!

  23. FilePearWorth on Sat Apr 26, 2008 09:57 PM

I have no idea why people are talking about SNL or Millennium. For those who need salt focus on the Charlton Heston aspect.

And its not "Damn dirty apes!"

  24. SquintsAppleriseoverrun on Sat Apr 26, 2008 10:11 PM

still stumped. does the brand name of the product in the third pic factor?

  25. FilePancakesArnott (Tanga Admin) on Sat Apr 26, 2008 10:15 PM

    :) Nice

  26. Ludwig_van_kozikRadishGordonKane on Sat Apr 26, 2008 11:10 PM

Ironic - I just finished watching the movie tonight (they re-issued a lot of his and Sean Connery's psuedo-scifi movies when "I am Legend" was released in the theaters).

Never heard of the source of clue #3, and it didn't look like a Milkbone.

  27. SquintsAppleriseoverrun on Sat Apr 26, 2008 11:32 PM

    finally got it. nice puzzle.

i'm with [23], what the heck are all you guys talking about snl for?

  28. Avatar_profileApplelynnyj on Sat Apr 26, 2008 11:58 PM

    [23] Darn it!

Which decade of SNL are we speaking?

  29. FileBananaBobcat on Sun Apr 27, 2008 01:49 AM

Two cannibals are eating a clown, one turns to the other and says 'Does this taste funny to you?"

  30. Hawksbill_avatarPearHawksbill on Sun Apr 27, 2008 03:15 AM

I had no idea about the third picture, but it is the only thing that makes sense after getting the 1st, 2nd and 4th.

  31. CheersGrapesdb0ne on Sun Apr 27, 2008 11:04 AM

    Big Kudos on this one.
    4 pics and no punctuation.
    Brilliant !

    [29] = Awesome

I forgot the full phrase... Skipped the second word when I first input this. Oops! Well done as always, Philana.
