Sorry for the two hour delay everyone.

    My dog ate my violin.

  2. FilePeachWoody on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:04 PM

nice...i came home late and actually benefited from the delay :)

  3. FileCarrotblahmcblah on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:04 PM

    Clueless.

  4. FileGarlicmartinp13 on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:06 PM

Oh my.... put some marbles in your mouth for this one. :)

  5. SouthparkPepperTahnan on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:09 PM

Er. Yes, the phrase named by the pictures resembles the answer, much like "Raymond Luxury Yacht" resembles "Throat Warbler Mangrove". Right.

  6. Avatar_profileStrawberrySam32 on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:10 PM

    indeed

  7. FileBananatheChony on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:18 PM

Wow, say it as fast as humanly possible until you fall into a coma. Trust your instincts, and take a wild guess.

    This one's punctuation free.

  8. Avatar_profileStrawberrySam32 on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:12 PM

i have to say that at first i tried 'schwartz.'

  9. FileBananagrant5 on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:15 PM

[7] I did that and got it, thanks! Does not actually sould like the phrase at all.

  10. FileApplewmshub on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:15 PM

Dang, when I say it out loud I get "Made of horse pee", but it doesn't say I'm a genius. Maybe my punctuation is wrong?

  11. Img_0189Egggst on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:16 PM

This is both goofy and cool.

  12. FileCarrotblahmcblah on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:16 PM

That really, really doesn't work. Quite a stretch...

  13. FileSailboatsteve59 on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:19 PM

[10] did you remember the question mark?

This one was a bit of a stretch for me.

  14. FilePeachSquirlwfleas on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:20 PM

    This was fun! : )

  15. Avatar_profileRadishRastus on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:24 PM

  17. Ronald-mcd-3EggKilgore on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:51 PM

    The delay helped me!

You solved this puzzle in 18 seconds and were the 1st Tanga member to solve it. You earned 110 points for solving this.

That never happens at the regular post time!

  18. Avatar_profileKiwiLeezer on Mon Mar 03, 2008 09:51 PM

    And also Ouija.

  19. Avatar_profileAceGertSoB on Mon Mar 03, 2008 10:40 PM

Um, how are you people pronouncing "ouija"? I've never heard it pronounced any way but "wee-jee". Which doesn't sound anything like the end of the answer to this cryptopix.

  20. Avatar_profilePeachmadewelt on Mon Mar 03, 2008 10:50 PM

OMG it's hella funny when you get it!

  21. FileOnionJohn on Mon Mar 03, 2008 11:28 PM

    sub-par

  22. FileBananaBobcat on Mon Mar 03, 2008 11:58 PM

I have to agree.. Cyn, you *REAAALLY* stretched this one.

Now if you'll excuse me, I've got to go pick up some power converters.

  23. FilePeppercyncat on Tue Mar 04, 2008 12:35 AM

    [22] Oops! LOL.

Also [4][5][7][9][12][13][19][21] LOL. I'm glad you got the answer anyway. :)

  24. FilePeppercyncat on Tue Mar 04, 2008 12:33 AM

    Thanks, [11][14][20]. :)

  25. FilePumpkinDisreputable on Tue Mar 04, 2008 01:17 AM

Ah. So it isn't "Made of Horsebewegee".

That's good, because I had no idea what Horsebewegee was.

  26. Sc002a57f6Pumpkinrunart on Tue Mar 04, 2008 02:50 AM

Thanks 7 - that did it for me - it's so weird that it works but it does.

  27. FileSailboatyelowflower on Tue Mar 04, 2008 03:05 AM

OFCOL!!!! Glad I didn't stay up for this one....sorry Cyncat, but too much of a stretch if my DH could figure it out by googling 'may of course be' lol

  28. FileSailboatcmg528 on Tue Mar 04, 2008 04:16 AM

thanks [27] googling that is the only way I figured this one out...too much of a stretch for my thought process

  29. FilePepperpepperhead on Tue Mar 04, 2008 04:27 AM

streched to the point of breaking, oh crap it broke

  30. Avatar_profileBananarabaz on Tue Mar 04, 2008 04:35 AM

    I liked it Cyncat

  31. FileDuckiespamwise on Tue Mar 04, 2008 05:23 AM

Thanks [22] (though, at first I thought it was a tip on a nasaly/whiny pronounciation.) :)

  32. FileApplehutch708 on Tue Mar 04, 2008 05:28 AM

I had to drink a case of beer, but I slurred it fast and saw the light !!

  33. New_scout_logoCheeseburgerscoutmom on Tue Mar 04, 2008 05:40 AM

[8] Is actually what helped me get this. Thanks, Yoghurt!!

It was a true rat pong moment.

  34. Avatar_profilePlumtiprod on Tue Mar 04, 2008 06:32 AM

Getting the "F" to the second line was my lucid moment.....

  35. Avatar_profileGrapesJNewbs on Tue Mar 04, 2008 06:57 AM

the only stretch is the last word. And if you go phonetically instead of how you think its pronounced, you'll be fine. That is, if you say it really really fast.

  36. Avatar_profileGrapesjshurt on Tue Mar 04, 2008 07:01 AM

I liked it, but the answer was pretty far out there. Kinda out there like Star Wars.

  37. Avatar_profileOrangelilpele22 on Tue Mar 04, 2008 07:07 AM

very fun puzzle. Like previously said.. say it as fast as you possibly can.

  38. Avatar_profileGrapespeewog on Tue Mar 04, 2008 07:13 AM

[34] thanks for sharing your lucid moment!

  39. Avatar_profileStrawberryswift on Tue Mar 04, 2008 07:25 AM

You know, [25] was awfully close. In fact, I can still hear it from his answer...

  40. FileDuckieescKey on Tue Mar 04, 2008 08:11 AM

    And also with you

Did someone mention that the last word was a serious stretch?

  41. FileEggRagspur on Tue Mar 04, 2008 08:38 AM

[34] The kick I needed. Now I can go to sleep after saying this over and over in my head all night long. I still have no idea how the last word fits. Even tired, I can't slur it enough to fit.

  42. SmalloldvelvetnoseRocketsdharing on Tue Mar 04, 2008 09:10 AM

[34] That's the salt that did it. Thanks!

  43. FilePeppercyncat on Tue Mar 04, 2008 10:03 AM

LOL. Yah, I should have stayed with the images of oars and ewe. :)

For those still having trouble with the end, you can look up the pronunciaton for "ouija" (merriam-webster.com). There's more than one way to say it.

That might help a little, though it would still be a bit of a stretch.

  44. FilePumpkinDisreputable on Tue Mar 04, 2008 10:37 AM

[39] yeah, right, if you speak Jawa.

  45. AvatarStrawberryelihuperson on Tue Mar 04, 2008 11:14 AM

I dont think it was that much of a stretch until the last word, so if you just ignore the last word, you should get it by the rest of the words.

  46. Avatar_profileBananauser2015 on Tue Mar 04, 2008 11:40 AM

You solved this puzzle in 4 hours, 47 minutes and 45 seconds and were the 453rd Tanga member to solve it.

even yoda would have trouble w/ this one.

  47. Avatar_profileBananauser2015 on Tue Mar 04, 2008 01:41 PM

    [34] and [43] helped me.

[7],[8], and [36] now make more sense...

  48. FilePeppercyncat on Tue Mar 04, 2008 01:49 PM

Thanks for ALL the comments here. The positive ones reassured me that I may not be the only one with a warped mind. The negative ones reminded me that I do have to put a check on it sometimes.

And the negative comments were definitely excellent salt. Thanks.

  49. FileAppleABBAbear on Tue Mar 04, 2008 04:13 PM

[7] Thanks! I did what you said and only then did I get it.

  50. Avatar_profileOrangeokiedokie on Tue Mar 04, 2008 05:29 PM

Ok, my brain just barfed up the answer. I my have to take my brain out and kick it around the block for even thinking like that.

  51. FileOrangedebsprpldragon on Tue Mar 04, 2008 05:41 PM

OMG!! I wouldn't have gotten it without all the salt!! Thanks guys!

    edit for BAD spelling...lol

  52. FileAceldstalk on Tue Mar 04, 2008 06:00 PM

I like it. One I got without any salt, and I am usually terrible at these things.

  53. LadybugAppleDocbug on Thu Apr 24, 2008 09:46 PM

Wow. My wife just looked at it and said "Maid of horse bee Ouija???" and suddenly it clicked for me...

  54. Avatar_profilePotatomarius20 on Thu Mar 11, 2010 08:17 AM

Rofl. That was terrible. Do you even know how to pronounce "Ouija"?
