I think you need to adjust the color balance of your picture. Your purples look a lot like blue.
On the plus side, even with that confusion, I was still #10 for both this puzzle and tonights cryptopix.

Even though I knew those were supposed to be purple, (thanks [2]) I still was using them as blue. Still got 67th!
Sorry about the colors all, compared to the other color in question in this set it was clear. Should have had some kind of comparison.
