You solved this puzzle in 9 seconds and were the 1st Tanga member to solve it. You earned 110 points for solving this. Sweet! :D
Huh?
whatsa?
Very cute.
Donde esta la cuchara?
I don't know, but it isn't the answer.
[5] Great salt there.
hopefully you're familiar with this movie quote
Oh, great, probably not.
Edit: Nope. Shouldn't cryptos be a little more time tested and common?
Whoa.
i wasnt familiar with the quote, but just state wat u see.
[9] it doesnt appear to be a cryptopix by the usual tanga standards.
Unless you've seen the movie, there is neo way you'll get the answer to this puzzle.
right, don't go to the movies, don't watch them hardly ever...any help would be appreciated
[8] Nope. Never heard of it. Wanna let me in on it?
wow. I havent watched those in ages.
zero stars.
You solved this puzzle in 22 seconds and were the 48th Tanga member to solve it. You earned 63 points for solving this.
Just free your mind
[9] I don't mind an out-of-the-box one every once in a while. Also, not all quotes are gonna really well-known, right? There are only so many until you run out of them :)
It would have been nice, though, if there had been some little hinty thing in the puzzle about the movie this is from.
For those that don't know: The Matrix.
from "the matrix" - I don't care if too salty. thumbs down on this one
I knew the movie quite well. It took the salt for me to get it though !!
You solved this puzzle in 10 minutes and 1 second and were the 51st Tanga member to solve it. You earned 60 points for solving this.
Don't try to solve this puzzle, that's impossible. Just try to remember the truth.
-------
A bit vague, needed a steering but always nice to see a non rebus puzzle. Nicely done.

[22] What truth? :D
Woohoo Broke 1000
Also, FWIW, I'd rather have a "famous" quote (i.e. FROM somewhere specific) than just a sentence.
Also, first-time puzzlemaker, so be nice :)
[24] Then you'll see, that it is not the [salt deleted] that bends, it is only yourself.
Actually, I didn't see the film, but I have heard the phrase enough times.
think of The Matrix
[13] I have seen the movie, but don't remember that quote, but it's entirely possible to solve the puzzle without knowing the movie; just do some digging.
I thought it ran away with the dish ... guess I was way off.
wow - so I was totally off - thanks for the movie salt --- otherwise I was going the hey diddle diddle route
It would seem that to solve it you would have to know the movie to do any digging.
OK, so I got it once the name of the movie was said. I thought that the quote was in spanish because it was used in the movie in spanish, which is why I thought I had never heard of it.
First time puzzlemaker aside, this one wasn't fun.
I agree that this was a bit of a stretch, but when the movie first came out, I remember alot of people using this quote. To this day, certain groups of people still use it.
[34] Spanish? huh?
man the last three days of these have been a real let down,
I do not like to not be nice so I will stop with that
LOOK AT [5]. FIND OUT WHAT THE COMMENT SAID, THEN USE GOOGLE TO FIND THE QUOTE. WHEN LOOKING FOR THE QUOTE, USE TWO WORDS TO STATE WHATS NOT IN THE PICTURE.
But one of my words was "missing", which didn't help at all. I think it's one of those which is easy if you know it, but very obscure if you don't hang out with people who quote 9 year old movies all the time. I've never had one person say this to me.
And all caps is a little hard on the eyes.
Count me among those who didn't know the quote. So this was tough to "solve". I prefer puzzles with clues.
[31] That's funny!
[33] Naw, just babblefish [5] - that got me most of the way; than a google followed by a wikipedia and - OK, maybe that's a lot of digging - but it worked for me.
great job on the puzzle, AviN456. It's neat to see a different take on a cryptopix.
In our little worst puzzle ever there were a lot of people pointing out (if I remember correctly) that a crypto has to be a series of pictures..."Cryptopix are puzzles of multiple pictures where the answer to the puzzles is a word or phrase." That made our little video not a cryptopix.
Just adding a red pill and blue pill to the bread plate would have helped a lot. :)
That's not really a famous quote, it's more like a line from a movie. Kind of like using "They're up for sale if you're interested" instead of "These aren't the droids you're looking for."
Made it much more difficult without increasing the fun.
Hope: I agree that this doesn't fit the definition of a cryptopix. But as to your earlier question about "time tested and common" quotes... The Matrix is nine years old. For those of us a bit older (I count myself in that group), yes, that still counts as a fairly new movie. For the younger set though, anything beyond 1-2 years old is ancient and therefore quailfies as "time tested". As for common, maybe because I and most of my friends are sci-fi geeks (among other classifications of geek) but this quote has, in my experience, been in common usage for several years now.
AviN456: A bit tough to figure out (without the salt given) but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Good puzzle. Thanks!
[36] see [5].
[46] I've got to disagree. To use your analogy, the answer is equivalent to "These aren't the droids you're looking for." The original line steph_frolin paraphrases in [22] above is equivalent to "They're for sale if you're interested."
[19],[40],[45] My next puzzle will have a few more clues.
[4],[26],[43],[47] Thanks for the praise and support, I'm making another puzzle which you guys should like.
Well I thought I got it it right away.
I said, "And the dish ran away with the spoon."
[19] and [20], thanks
I think this would be a fine puzzle if there is some hint on which movie it came from or who said it. I don't think cryptopix necessarily needs to be a series of pictures... sort of boring if all cryptopix are that way.
Got it with all the salt.
NOT A CRYPTOPIX.
This was pretty weak.
[53] That's how they are defined by Tanga and kinda what the name implies.
Is the answer BUTTER?
I usually don't like to criticize a puzzle but I think this one could have been more thought out. I get it but I think there wasn't enough to lead you there.
[13] good salt
Very good puzzle. The answer is exactly what you .You don't need to have seen the movie to get this.
Thanks, Arnott
IMDB is your friend
Thanks [20]. At first I thought it was a Seinfeld reference! (After all, I don't see a bowl either).
[62] That was my first thought, too! No soup...
[31],[51] and [58]'s answers are also good.
I got it without knowing the movie at all. I typed it in and entered it and then told my boyfriend about it and he was all (oh, thats from the matrix)
DUH!!!
I understand why people have had a hard time with this puzzle, but I appreciate AviN456's attempt at innovation. Regardless of the obscurity and seeming lack of clues, everything necessary to solve the puzzle was present in the picture. I wouldn't mind seeing more puzzles along this vein in the future, so long as they become more refined.
My next cryptopix's answer will be: Tuesday I went to the doctor for tea.
[60] I beg to differ. You pretty much absolutely need to have seen the movie to get this. Otherwise the quote seems meaningless.
I tried to forget this movie right after seeing it. Extremely overrated...
[47] "...but this quote has, in my experience, been in common usage for several years now."
Perhaps in a very limited circle of über-fans of this movie. I saw it once and don't even remember the scene it was taken from.
Hope the next effort is better.
[69] It was in two scenes. :(
That one made me feel like an idiot. I feel like it's obvious enough as long as you know it's a quote; if you don't know the quote, just examine the picture and make any plain statement about it. This one can't really be solved like a typical Cryptopix.
Just googled..line from the Matrix about a spoon & voila...there it was! Thanks for all the salt. Never saw this movie. :)
How much do I hate that movie? And why can my son always find it on TV?
