I can match them up but then what?

  7. FilePeppercyncat on Mar 08, 2008 07:59 PM

[6] Did you fill the blanks with numbers?

  8. FileSailboatyelowflower on Mar 08, 2008 08:49 PM

there is an extra one on the right, just ignore it I guess.

  9. FilePeppercyncat on Mar 08, 2008 08:58 PM

[8] Yes, just like a regular "matching" test. :)

  10. FileBananaCardzmaster2004 on Mar 08, 2008 10:19 PM

I only got about 8 of them and filled it in from there.

    Great puzzle, as usual, cyncat!

    [10] Thanks, Cardzmaster!

No clue on the fourth and eighth ones, think I've got the rest, nothing makes sense from the ones I've got. Are the individual lines supposed to have anything in common?

  13. FilePeppercyncat on Mar 09, 2008 07:59 AM

[12] They're all names of flowers (annuals and perennials).

  14. FileCheeseburgerQurqirishDragon on Mar 09, 2008 08:29 AM

[8] I think the extra one is to spoil anagram solvers (which would make the rest of the puzzle moot)

  15. FilePotatorevchewie on Mar 09, 2008 10:14 AM

Flowers. Oh, bloody hell. That explains why I was having so much trouble.

Thanks for the info, cyncat! Time to start over with a list of obscure flower names in front of me. *sigh*

  18. FileOrangedebsprpldragon on Mar 09, 2008 03:51 PM

    nice

  19. FilePumpkinthorboy on Mar 09, 2008 04:26 PM

i came up with some mystical lizard, yet it's not working....

  20. FilePeppercyncat on Mar 09, 2008 04:44 PM

[19] There is no second step in this puzzle. If you use the numbers, you will get a compound word, not a phrase. That word is the answer.

  21. FilePumpkinthorboy on Mar 09, 2008 05:07 PM

    thanks cyncat....i'm stupid!
